Gold Coast lure fishing - big Mangrove Jack after the storms!

Sit back, relax and tune in for a video fishing for estuary species including Mangrove Jack on the Gold Coast.
In this video I'm fishing with soft plastics for estuary species in the Northern Gold Coast region. After catching some bream I went and cast some rock walls and jetties and managed to get a new PB Mangrove Jack. This fish was carefully netted, put on a wet Diawa measuring mat (to protect it's health) and it reached the 46cm mark. we then carefully released it with the net. VRY stoked to have a new record fish and to be able to share it with my subscribers.

Nice vid and jack ,havnt tried that bridge for years gonna be sick fishing once done the old wooden pylons up the top there produce some nice fish

Thanks heaps Charlie - it definitely was one of the hardest fighting fish I’ve caught. Luckily I got it on a 3-6kg rod otherwise it wouldn’t have stopped. Cheers brother!
