A parent's greatest fear.
So painful for a mother to have to go through that!
So sad that the mother will never see her 9 year old son Walter again
This is the biggest cover up I've ever seen in a missing person's case. It's so sad that Christine Collins passed away never knowing what happened to her son. But I'm glad she sued the police officer working the case and won because he failed miserably investigating it and the way he treated Christine was absolutely horrible. He was a horrible police officer. I think it was his idea to bring another child and have him claim he was Walter.
That police officer pissess me off
The fact that my name is also Walter scares me…
The corrupt police department is another fear mixed into a parents worse one That is completely absurd
sad
Walter
If she would have hired a babysitter, this never would have happened
Single woman in the 1930s
That wasn't typically done back then. Then you could leave your doors unlocked and your kids home alone. Oh how things have changed.
in the movie it shows her looking for him in the house but in real life he went to see a movie at the movie theatre and never came home
She was a single working class mum in 1928. Common people did not have baby sitters at that time and it was very common to leave doors opened and let the children playing in the garden. In the real life she went to work and gave him some money to go to a local movie theatre, he never went back home, he was seen for the last time at a corner of the street by a neighbor
@@bridgetteburns1766actually this took place in the 20's, the last part of the movie makes it to the 30's tho
