    What’s the movie about?
    After her only son goes missing, Christine Collins (Angelina Jolie) reaches out to the LAPD to help her find him. When the police find a boy who fits the description, she insists it is not her missing son. Trying to demonstrate to the authorities that she is not delusional, she finds herself in a psychiatric hospital.

    This is the biggest cover up I've ever seen in a missing person's case. It's so sad that Christine Collins passed away never knowing what happened to her son. But I'm glad she sued the police officer working the case and won because he failed miserably investigating it and the way he treated Christine was absolutely horrible. He was a horrible police officer. I think it was his idea to bring another child and have him claim he was Walter.

      That wasn't typically done back then. Then you could leave your doors unlocked and your kids home alone. Oh how things have changed.

      in the movie it shows her looking for him in the house but in real life he went to see a movie at the movie theatre and never came home

      She was a single working class mum in 1928. Common people did not have baby sitters at that time and it was very common to leave doors opened and let the children playing in the garden. In the real life she went to work and gave him some money to go to a local movie theatre, he never went back home, he was seen for the last time at a corner of the street by a neighbor
