The Children of Lord ''Black Adder'' Aarseth can't possibly realize the rush of blood to the head this was; WTH and BM define the essence of (yes...) proto-Black Metal, but all built upon unseen and unmatched rawness, boldness, bouffonnerie, sheer Geordiness and freaking brilliant stage antics, for the desired purpose of setting England at war with Satan . Venom crossed my path around this time, at 19, and I always felt there was something medieval about them, something darkly Shakespearean, yet as over the top as Python and Spinal Tap together. We can't complain, now we have not one but TWO Venom's, and Mantas lives in Portugal. Hip-hip-hip Hurrah!
