Thanks brother Moses... You have considered my request to put light on the difference between these two variants of Salaat. This is nicely observed and it seems we cant stick to one way of form and it varies from person to person. I would however further like to know your thoughts on how every one gets to know what would be their Salaat. That should be something must be obtained via certain process according to me. Please if you can not tell in single comment maybe a good topic for any future video. Thans again.

It's important to note that Quran does not come with any form of spelling. Any spelling is purely ijtihad of the companions. I suspect that it was written like that because Uthman wanted to accommodate the major qiraats, which we know Warsh an nafi pronounce solat as solot, so it includes the letter waw there

If you understood what Al Moses is saying your question becomes moot.
He said it is a 2-way connection between entities. The only question is: "What are these entities?"
      Is it between:
      a) mortal human with mortal human, or
      b) mortal human with God?
Now if you chose (a) , then everything fits together nicely. For example
      Duty to your fellow mankind
Commitment to peace, justice, freedom to your fellow mankind.
      Everything is Quran centric!
The only duty of the messenger is to deliver the message (Quran.) Once we receive the message (Quran) we are committed to uphold justice, freedom, peace.
You might ask about this verse:
33:43 He it is Who sends blessings on you, as do His angels, that He may bring you out from the depths of Darkness into Light: and He is Full of Mercy to the Believers
But, before that you should have understood these verses:
22:75 God chooses messengers from among the angels and people. God is All-Hearing and All- Seeing.
42:51 God will not speak to any human being except by revelation or from behind a veil, or by sending a messenger who then reveals, by His permission, whatever He wills. He is Most High and All Wise.
Expanding on 42:51... if we were to go by the English translation.. is the conjunction "or" the same as "and?"
Again, going by the English translation, does God speak to humans by "revelation" AND by sending angel-messenger who then "reveals?"
Maybe Al Moses should make a study of 42:51 in the near future.
Anyway... to cut to the chase... salat is _"reciting the verses of the Quran to your fellow mankind without adding or subtracting anything from the Quran i.e. keeping it pure."_
The two entities being mortal human to mortal human!
      salam.

Correction. Salat session/prayer? by reading Quran etc. is not 5 times a day but 2 times a day (please see 11:114, 17:78 and 24:58) plus additional/extra Salat session at night (tahajud, per 70:1-35) preceded by ablution per 5:6. This Salat sessions is part of bigger Salat (connection including obey/follow/submit to God laws in the quran etc.etc). So, if you can discuss/presenting 11:114, 17:78, 24:58, 70:1-35, 5:6 together with 17:110, 2:45 etc etc).

By the way, my additional comments. In the Quran there is two Salat sessions; Al salat Fajar and Al salat Isha/sunset (see 24:58, 11:114, 17:78) and may be that is why mainstream muslim now when do Fajr, Maghrib and Isha prayers? they don’t recite Quran silently (as per 17:110) means the original salat sessions (by reciting Quran and submit/sujud) seems like 2 times a day (Fajr and Isha per 24:58, 11:114, 17:78).
As far as salat session during war time in 4:102, I don’t think any issue/problem when/if the attendees were in front and facing the prophet that lead the Salat session (by reciting Quran etc) as you pointed out.
In anticipation oof your video on ablution (per 5:6) it make sense for the attendees to perform ablution before Salat sessions (where the messenger reciting/delivering Quran etc etc.).
Most importantly all of these are just my understanding and I can be wrong. In this case I just want to make points for discussion or your analysis.

Brother, Your self explanatory of Quranic verses may be right or may be wrong but you do what you seems to be as per your understanding.. However, since inception of Islam mostly after 4 Khalifa there is so many new way of explanation of Quran's ayat and prayer rules etc.
In my opinion, I keep things simple to appease Allah. I pray regularly as we find at least 3 to 5 time a day from Quran's various chapters (praying format could differ person to person), pay charity and do the righteous deeds (avoid doing wrong things every single day of our life)... That's all matters. Even today's praying format is not mentioned in Quran but if we follow ritual prayer format it does not make any harm to us rather Allah will be happy for our daily prayers whatever the way we are doing.. But, if someone does not pray at all.. in that case the person is not following Allah's command... More good deeds are better than few good deeds.. same it applies to prayer.. If someone prays very less but does all righteous deeds and someone prays more but does not do righteous deeds.. OR a person does 50/50.... Allah knows best what he will do with that person..

No matter if there are 2 or more different spellings but one thing is for sure, and that is... the way the Sectarians, be they Sunnis or Shiites or whatever, are doing their version of "Salah" is definitely NOT in the Quran.
    Here is another incontrovertible proof.
Study verses 2:27 and 13:21 or 13:25 with the Arabic word _"yusala"._
2:27 Those who break God’s Pact after accepting His Covenant, and sever what God has commanded be joined _(yusala)_ , and work corruption upon the earth, it is they who are the losers.
Let us focus on the part where it says, _"sever what God has commanded be joined" _*_(yusala)_*
What is commanded by Allah to be *joined?*
To get the context, perhaps it is wise to consider the next part of this verse that says, _"work corruption upon the earth"_
How do you corrupt the earth?
So, do you corrupt the earth by corrupting:
    a. ) Allah _(how is this even possible???)_
    b. ) the people and the material world.
So, it follows that the JOINING is between mankind... all of mankind and all living things!
    Now, the million dollar question:
Do you *Aqimoo al-salat* and recite the Quran back to Allah or to your fellow humans?
    salam.

    • @shukriyusof2104

      Here is another incontrovertible proof...
You know how the Sectarians love to translate the Arabic word _"taʿbudū"_ to mean WORSHIP?
      Now, please consider this verse:
36:60 Did not I enjoin upon you O Children (of) Adam! That (do) not worship the Shaitaan, indeed, he (is) for you an enemy clear,
So, do we humans WORSHIP the Shaitaan?
Is there any ritual? Any "wuzu" ?
No... don't be silly... of course NOT.
Humans WORSHIP the Shaitaan by following/obeying their whispers/commands!
So, how does a human WORSHIP Allah?
By obeying and following His Commands which are only found in the Quran.
So, what kind of people go around WORSHIPPING their version of God by reciting His Commands *back to God?*
      Answer: Mushriqs, Munafiqs and Sectarians.

Dr. AlMoses, you are absolutely wrong in understanding ASSALAH and SALAH which have no meaning of “ connection between others” because you have not referred to any good Dictionary of the Quran for their meanings and the difference as you say and you have not given any evidence of your meaning to prove it right in the use of these two words in the verses of the Quran rightly. As the first researcher and exegetist of the meanings of the verses of the Quran with the linguistic and the method of understanding it as told by God in it, by the grace of God and I can prove my understand true also with evidence which no one of the exegetists has ever done. The root of these two words is SA LA OO which means to continuously follow some thing done. The evidence is from the Dictionary of the Quran by G A Parwez and Lanes Lexicon, And their use in the Quran in the context with coherence and good organisations in the verses of the Quran. Such as, SALLAH means “ any one of the continuous following of something done or said by any one.For example in 6:92 we find,”And this is a Book ( guidance of God. His instructions for life) which We have revealed is a blessing ( MUBARQUN, that has a lot of good Instructions for the people) and in it there are the true sayings of God and the false sayings of the people, that is hearsay (and not facts) so that you may warn the people of Mecca ( the mother of cities, the first city ) and whatever is around it. Those who believe in it and they who safe guard their following continuously. ALAA SALATIHIM is used as a common noun meaning any one of them who follow it). But in 2:3 we find,” Those who believe in the unseen ( that is God and His Malaika ( forces) and the act of revealing guidance on His Prophets and His Messengers) And always are ready to act upon their continuous following of the guidance ( Instructions given in the Quran by God is used as a proper noun meaning one particular continuous following of the instructions give by zGod in the Quran. So the difference is only that is between a common and a proper noun. and not any connection with God or anyone.I hope you will all agree with me.
