Laura Cox is an Anglo-French guitarist, singer and songwriter. She is known for her CZcams videos where she covers classic rock songs and showcases her skills on various instruments. She also leads the Laura Cox Band, a rock band that has released three albums: Hard Blues Shot, Burning Bright, and Head Above Water.
She plays a variety of genres, such as country rock, hard rock, blues rock, and French rock. She uses Gibson, Bacchus, and Fender guitars, Orange amplifiers, and Ernie Ball strings.
She started playing guitar at the age of 14, in 2005, and posted her first CZcams video in 2008. She has since gained over half a million subscribers and more than 100 million views.
She is one of the few artists who managed to break out of the virtual bubble and perform live on many prominent stages for rock music in France and beyond. She is considered a pioneer of the guitar on the internet and a driving force in a new generation of rock guitarists.
