What do you when Landeskog returns? Put him with Middlestadt and Lehkonen?
@@biffdanielson2820 realistically a return this year is doubtful. However I’d assume you put him on a line with Drouin and Lehkonen. Knowing Bednar, he’d try every possible combination. All I know is you can’t touch Val/Miko/Nate line
The difference in the Avs' record with and without him the last two years is staggering.

The Avalanche only got here 29 years ago. Kelly left Colorado in 2004 I believe.

Solid game from both teams but the Avs just have the explosiveness of a canon. Glad to see the road warriors back in form. Justus is quite a solid backup too, guy knows how to read plays and be a wall when needed. Go Avs!
Before anyone gets their undies in a twist, they had the same amount of penalties, the Avs just scored on one of theirs.
Couple of the penalties were soft on both sides. That Binnington flop though. Wow

That first goal. Just look at what MacK and Moose can create together from nothing.
Drouin looked great tonight, and so did Girard. Nice to see some of the depth guys play at a high level and take over the game. Rantanen had the puck alot tonight, and he ended up with 2 terrible turnovers, and 3 goals. I'll take it!
And some people shitting on Mikko’s overall play this year(defence, etc). Guy is consistently top 10 in scoring. Let’s respectfully ignore defensive stats in this case..

Love seeing all blues fans cry about refs. Equal penaltys. Your team just aint as good. Love seeing binnington lose. Hes a cry baby. And shouldve got an embellishment penalty on that Parise call.
No one is going to argue that the Avs aren’t better than the Blues. I’m impressed that we were leading at one point. A 4-3 loss to the Avs is basically a win for the Blues.

@@MrHitcheyThe fact that the Blues are in a soft rebuild and we’re able to keep up with the Avalanche is pretty crazy and a little bit concerning because it would suck if the Blues superb goaltending this year kept them from a high draft pick. The last thing I’d want for the Blues is to end up like the Minnesota Wild in a perpetual state of mediocrity. It’s better to be very bad for 2-3 years to restock the youth in the system and put the team in a optimal position for their next cup window instead of just middling as a fringe playoff team.
