Looks great thanks for this I was stressing over how to paint my bike omrrow, I. Painting my rims green though what should I do first blackout the bike or paint the rims first?
Josh Contreras but i think i would do the wheels first just because they are more complicated. thats if your leaving them on the bike. painting the forks was super easy . just remember if you have the fork covers luke i do you have to spray under them a little or the chrome will show
I cleaned the front end if the bike today tomorrow my risers will come in the mail and bu then the paint job should be done did you clear coat anything to be safe? That's another stress I'm having
how are you spraying brake callipers? you not gonna have any front brakes like that? and the forks move up and down, wont that prevent them from moving propperly?? wtf im so confused.
What’s up, dude! I need your help really bad! Just bought a motorcycle and I really wanna buy some new wheels for my Honda shadow 1100 (1995) but I have no idea about all this settings I mean settings like cars one.. it’s simple if we talking about cars - for example 8.0J | +20ET What settings do you have on your bike wheels!? And what tire size do you have on front and on rear wheels? Thank you!
first i scratched the surface so that the self etching primer would stick good then i did a couple layers of grey primer. but on everything i used 3 cans of black
donmartin27 yes I just scratched up the chrome a little with some sand paper. the paint it fine so far some dings in it but nothing major. also I did not put clear on it so maybe if you want to spray some clear finish on it will be better protected.
Aren't the spokes touching each other where they cross or at least are so close to touching that paint will form a bridge there?
TheGame honesty i didn't check that but nooo issues yet
