    one of the best scramblers ever, and imo the best putter ever. often overlooked by many..his entire career if his ball's within 12ft of the cup, it's goin in. if tiger doesn't match JN's major wins, he's still the best golfer to ever play. period

      I am old enough to have seen Jack play at his best and Tiger at his best. Tiger is the better Golfer. Better short game and putter. It is only Tigers injuries that have stopped him from passing Jack on the Major list. Cheers

      @@BatMan-oe2gh also the tour changing because of tiger to be more athletic, and stronger. Tiger really changed the game from the days of John Daly to now Bryson, McElroy, Thomas and really the whole tour being full of athletes.

      Yeah, I agree Tiger's peak was more impressive...but give 22 year old Jack Nicklaus a pro v1x and today's equipment and look the hell out...he'd be outdriving Rory, DJ, and almost everyone else easily. He was also damn near as good a putter as Tiger. I'm not saying he'd be better than Tiger, but it would be interesting..

      @@jamesfleming2641 Tiger being so good and being the biggest thing in sports is why the equipment has gotten so much better because of the money being made in golf and obviously technology changing. Jack beat the field by a couple shots in his prime. Tiger beat the field by 12-15 strokes in majors when they all used the same equipment. Tiger is the best golfer of all time it’s not close.

    That 18/19 PGA was the greatest display of golf I’ve ever seen man. His driver was clearly not behaving but his skill and experience in every other facet was full force

    Tiger was revolutionary. He changed the whole dynamic of the game of golf. The many talented young players on the tour now who make one incredible shot after another are largely the result of pioneer TW who raised the game to a much higher level. Golf equipment manufacturers benefited as well. We all did. Thank you Tiger. 👏🏻👍🏻

      Tiger never caused the equipment to get better. The companies have to come out with a new gimmick every year or they won't sell any equipment. They keep trying to improve the equipment only so it will sell. One company will always try to get a leg up on another company. It had nothing to do with Tiger.

    Can't stop watching Tiger's Golf replays. He's just so incredible! Threw all his struggles and comes back with a new perspective on life, health and Family and his friends around him, who he cherishes so much. What a great young man !

    I’m just so glad my Father lived long enough to see Tiger at his best, my Father loved golf, played it very well, should have been a pro but had to feed his family and had a good job, played 36 holes at least a week, summer and winter, said he had never seen such golf!

    The spell he had between 03-05 (when he was making swing changes) he was all over the place but he still won and finished 2nd and 3rd. His putting and short game is unbelievable.

    Tiger made golf exciting, not just because he won so much, but because of how miraculous so many of his saves were. When the stakes were highest and he didn't put himself in great position, he still found a way to pull of heroic shots under pressure.

    I was at Bellerive on Sunday in 2018 watching him chase Brooks. The putt on 11 that didn’t drop and the drive on 17 cost him the tournament. I was at 18 green to watch him make birdie to lose by 1. One hell of a tournament

    Sunday at the 2018 PGA Championship was one of the most exciting rounds I've watched Tiger play where he didn't win. What a rush that afternoon was.

      Tiger ranks above Jack because Tiger was able to play phenomenal golf while being treated disrespectfully from the crowd like enduring balls at his knees and death threats. Jack never had to face such pressure/persecution. Tiger had physical and mental strength.

    Of course these highlights showcase why "these guys are so good!" To me though, it's how close they let the gallery stand next to tee shots. They wouldn't dare let me drive in those circumstances. Somebody is gonna get hurt!

      Try watching the old Master broadcasts. True spectators that didn't have to say "you da man" or "get in the hole' on every stinking shot.. Nothing beats the quiet buildup of a crowd cheering as a putt or chip rolls towards the cup and goes in. Nobody needed to say "get in the hole". They watched in quiet amazement and cheered a truly great shot.     the thing i learned from watching this, is that any time Tiger hits a golf ball, people lose their minds. i know they're reacting to the sound of the club hitting the ball and are cheering based on that, but they're cheering for shots that Tiger himself hates. they just want to cheer any time he does anything lol

      You want to see classy spectators watch the old Masters tourneys. Light applause, great appropriate cheering. Even for Nicklaus. This carnival type of spectator needs to go. They are so far caught up in the front runner mind set they even cheer when its a horrible Tee shot.

    I just watched a few masters tournaments that he had won and I think the worst part of his game by far is hitting the driver straight. The rest of his game really bails him out

    It's a shame he had all of thr injuries he's had I think he could still be out there competing if his body hadn't been put through so many injuries and surgeries. The crazy thing is he was starting to get back to tiger form when he won that last masters then he was in that car wreck and it seems like it's finally caught up with him. I would love to seem him grab another major or 2 or 3 lol
