  • The Center for Disease Control's Phyl­lis Holditch Niolon, Ph.D, recently pre­sent­ed during a webinar on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and their impact on life­long health. In addition, she shared the CDC’s Pre­vent­ing Adverse Child­hood Expe­ri­ences Resource for Action, which sum­ma­rizes the best avail­able evi­dence on effec­tive strate­gies and approach­es for pre­vent­ing ACEs and pro­mot­ing Pos­i­tive Child­hood Expe­ri­ences (PCEs).

    Holditch Niolon is the senior advi­sor for Adverse Child­hood Expe­ri­ences (ACEs) in the Office of the Direc­tor of the Divi­sion of Vio­lence Pre­ven­tion at CDC’s Nation­al Cen­ter for Injury Pre­ven­tion and Con­trol. She is a senior sub­ject mat­ter expert on ACEs and inti­mate part­ner vio­lence.
