- The Center for Disease Control's Phyllis Holditch Niolon, Ph.D, recently presented during a webinar on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and their impact on lifelong health. In addition, she shared the CDC’s Preventing Adverse Childhood Experiences Resource for Action, which summarizes the best available evidence on effective strategies and approaches for preventing ACEs and promoting Positive Childhood Experiences (PCEs).
John Hodgins, associate director for Strategic Communications at the Annie E. Casey Foundation, hosted the session.
Holditch Niolon is the senior advisor for Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) in the Office of the Director of the Division of Violence Prevention at CDC’s National Center for Injury Prevention and Control. She is a senior subject matter expert on ACEs and intimate partner violence.
