Ben is basically the reason I'm interested in downhill mountainbiking again. Even ordered a DH bike for the next season. What an absolute legend.
Now if that's not a sign of a great Brand/Sport ambassador then I don't know... Just hope you ordered a V10;)

@@janeblogs324 for sure Warners not everyone’s cup of tea,they have come a long way,2023 will be interesting as redbull are no longer doing the coverage, but they ,redbull have left big shoes to fill in reference to access and availability of the World Cup DH racing.
@@dpaterson42 the coverage can't get any worse. There's no telemetry, no POV cameras, they don't tell us rider stats like age or where they were born. They never show a map of where the country/course is located/altitude.
Even the pro riders admit the pits make the whole event feel grassroots. The sport isn't young but no one is capitalising. They definitely need an app with a countdown timer till the next event/livestream for riders and viewers

Between Ben doing a huge percentage of the PinkBike videos, Running a DH Team aswell as racing, doing all the How To videos, and just everyday normal life. Ben is hands down the busiest dude on the track and the fact he's even getting the times he is, its nothing short of amazing. This whole series has been so well put together its insane. Huge love for the PB Racing team

This was awesome! Pinkbike becoming the team for misfit toys who just had bad luck in the past and just need support both mechanically and emotionally to show their potential is the coolest guiding star for any team in sports right now. Hammer this even more next year with your rider choices and content, and you will have one of those shows even people who know nothing about biking will love to watch! Keep it up!
To know that Ben was managing the team while also racing himself shows me he was born to do this. DH racing in his blood.
Very few people get me as hyped to ride as he does. A true ambassador for the sport, for both racers and non racers alike.
My takeaway here is how compassionate Ben is and how he genuinely loves the sport and the people (his teammates) around him. I'm just a recreational rider on a Fatbike who loves to get out there, and it's people like Ben who continue to inspire young and OLD riders like me to do just that! I didn't know that you are married with kids buddy, but now I definitely can see it. You must be an awesome dad! From one dad (of four amazing kids... none of whom mountain bike.... sad...) , please continue to teach and inspire! As a retired educator with 35 years experience, I can identify a "true" teacher when I see one. You were meant to do this! Way to Leona! Go get it!

Ben, watching this video I feel like I'm slowly beginning to realise how much I actually look up to you. Your attitude, your lightheartedness and yet your insane skills on the bike, the effort you put into your work in order to be involved with what you love as much as you can. Your commitment, the fact you have a family as well, and all that with a very healthy amount of humour and fun. I think I never really realised, despite how unlikely a figure you seem to be to be regarded a hero, in reality, you have grown to be a hero to me :). Thank you for just being out there and for being committed to the things you are committed to. You show me a mindset I wish to learn from

This is one of the best series I have watched. Maybe the chemistry of the riders, team members, and editors all clicked well but as a viewer it had everything. Edge of seat suspense, warm feels, strong emotion, all wrapped in a positive message. Thank you for making this series.

What a great video series, really covers the emotional roller coasters these riders go through. Being a father of 2 daughters, every time I see one of the girls upset and crying, I just want to hug them...lol.

Hope you guys are back for 2023, this was a blast to follow.
Ben's teaching is good,I learned a lot from him . I used what I learned from him not only on the trail but I can apply it also when I'm riding in the road with my mountain bike. Simply his a great mentor.
What a series. I have to sit through countless 'leadership' presentations at work from bullshitters who happened to win a shiny medal or got lucky with their timing for a product launch, but have zero skills in bringing people on a journey through thick and thin - I am going to recommend aspiring management candidates watch this series for some of the best leadership and management lessons they could hope for - you are not always going to get it right, you will not always win but it is the way you look after your people as you deal with the situation that matters.
As for the series as a whole, the whole production crew along with Ben and Brian, you have done us proud
