    It works good for me. The hardest part is to get the model off the build-plate as it has really good adhesion.
    Also, removing rafts is another issue. Any suggestions?😁

    I looked for days before I found the features I want at a good price. Out of the box it was ready to go. It is quite the upgrade from the 3D V2. I would love a larger build plate. At the time this will work great. It is a consumer level printer with commercial features and solid build. This is a good video, thank you.

    Thank you, I have been trying for hours to figure out how to do the firmware update. I am doing a test print now but will try this method to update it afterwards.

    I had exact same problem with the rails not being perpendicular , is it really that hard to ship the product with straight rails ?

    • @crepps
      @crepps Před rokem

      In the setup instructions, there is a tool that come with it that aligns the rails and it shows you how to do it. I didn't have to do what this video shows.

    I ordered one of these (Dec 22) from Amazon and the upper right rear gantry was broken in half upon arrival via UPS. There was no apparent damage to the box.

    Thanks a lot for the great and detailed review! I have a question, can it print flexible materials (TPU)?

    • @Dombi3D
      @Dombi3D  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes it can. It has direct extruder motors, so it works good. You still need to tune the filaments though, but that is normal with all filaments.

    700 euro kit with crooked gantry should go exactly where it came from!!! Thanks for pointing this out!!! Another chinese cloner in the "Do Not Go there" list. Maybe the QC department was on lunch brake when they packed this one up 🙂

  • @jivinhipcat
    @jivinhipcat Před 3 lety

    I’ve been looking to upgrade my setup and NEED my printer(s) to be 1) dual extruder, 2) auto bed leveling, 3) higher temp capable such as nylon 4) and my 1st layer is almost always a feature of my products, so precision and surface options such as glass or textured build plates are essential. Do you have any recommendations that could help me out? Also, really good video! Thanks for that.

      @@MBrewah04 thanks! I decided to go the Prusa route. I THINK I can make the MMU2S work for what I need at this point, and if I can get them to do half of what they are supposed to be capable of then that’ll be a nice bonus.

    • @jochemajendouz9271

      @@MBrewah04 I need the first 3 options Hipcat needs + I'd like the printer to be closed off. I want to start printing with my daughter who's ten, so easy usage would also be nice. My budget is around 750 euro's max. What are my options?

    • @MBrewah04
      @MBrewah04 Před 3 lety +2

      @@jochemajendouz9271 I would probably stick with the printer in the video with your budget. Its hard to find dual extrusion and fully enclosed for a better price. I would also stay with an IDEX machine over a fixed dual nozzle. Once properly calibrated it offers more features. If this I your first print, a single nozzle would be better to learn on.

      @@MBrewah04 thank you for your answer. So idex printing of nylon with supports is out of the question for this budget?
