MLB players everywhere on those teams. It’s truly the greatest collection of MLB players on two teams in the college World Series finals.

The last game of the College World Series that was played at Rosenblatt Stadium..I watched this tournament every year while it was being played there from 1982 till 2010. It was like a dream to get to Omaha..of ALL places in the World, and play at Rosenblatt Stadium for the College World Series. I really must admit that City did an EXCELLENT job at taking care of ALL the folks to come into town for those 10 to 12 days people were there during the series. GREAT place, I mean the BEST place a Dad can take his kids, and just spend time with them, like Dad's should. Leave the cell's at home, and live and love in Omaha at Rosenblatt. Johnny would be happy to see it!!🥎🏟️

@MANCHESTER UNITED And WHAT the hell...does that have ANYTHING to do with College baseball, in The US?? Your comment was both inopportune and in the wrong place there pal...

All championship series, Orel Hershizer talked up UCLA's team as being so talented, as if South Carolina was lucky to be on the same diamond with the Bruins. The Gamecocks had players like Jackie Bradley Jr., Whit Merrifield, Christian Walker, Michael Roth, Sam Dyson, Blake Cooper - all players who have had extensive time in the majors, and several that have been leaders in their respective leagues...

UCLA was very talented but the fight SC had throughout the whole season was unmatched by any team. Watching this brings back memories and how good we used to be. Hopefully Kingston can turn this program around and bring back the Tanner years... 😭

i was there. best day ever. Summer, 2010 and i was 20yrs old, it was college world series time again my favorite time of year. The tournament the year before that had seen my favorite college baseball team (other then nebraska of course) the LSU tigers win the title beating texas.. how sweet. So i was extra jazzed for that 2010 tournament. An it was official the CWS would be moving next year to a new stadium and i was none to pleased about that. Rosenblatt Stadium was my home away from home all the years i had been on this earth in this present form i was there to watch a game. An for that to be ending , it was heart breaking. The baseball gods though how ever gave us faithful a treat one last time one last bat at the blatt. The final game of Rosenblatt Stadium i was there, a clear night great weather South Carolina and UCLA game 2 My favorite college baseball player of all time Matt Price stepped on the mound. With a fresh squeezed lemonade and a hotdog with relish mustard onions and jalapenos in my hands i watched one final time. One final time in my seat that i had sat in for 20 years i watched Price strike them out and old UCLA and in extra innings a hit to right field gave South carolina the game. I wasnt a fan of that team just the player and the game but it felt good. I stayed in my seat the whole time during the after game ceremonies, i stayed in my seat as everyone else left , and i stayed in my seat til the lights went out, one final time at the blatt. Bitter sweet it was but im glad i was there. Number one best day. Nothing else mattered in my life in those moments. Not school ,not work, nothing. Just baseball.

Scott0711 Yeah. The head coach actually told Bauer in a 2-0 count to the first hitter, “If this guy walks, the next guy is yours”. That’s why Bauer was busting ass to the bullpen.
