Anthony Edwards even called his own performance that night "trash" in the post game conference. At least state that to begin with. Jokic was shooting blanks from three (2-10) and was a no-show on defense. It is what it is. Wolves move on and the Nuggets go home.

After slowing down Murray (the hot hand at the time) at the start of the second half and helping his team comeback from a 20 pt deficit in a Game 7 would have the 15th man trash talking. Ant is consistent when it comes to his taunting.
And you’re acting as if they weren’t just facing elimination the last two games. Just because he didn’t shoot well doesn’t mean he didn’t impact the game, had 8 rebs, 7 assists, and 2 stls, with only 1 to and 2 fouls. Maybe his 7 assists lead to other guys getting hot when needed. Real hoopers know you don’t need 25 every night on 50 40 90 shooting to have an impact. And on top of all that he was seeing 2-3 bodies every time he touched the ball.
His team just sent the defending Champs, who have the best player in the league right now, home after losing 3 straight and facing elimination the previous game and everybody writing them off because Denver had Jokic, he should talk his talk and he even acknowledged his poor shooting performance and spoke on how he tried to impact the game in other ways.

I picked the Nuggets to win in six, but the Timberwolves proved to be the better team with greater resolve!
