    Absolutely love the "special comment", why you can charge more for chawan...hilarious. Inspiring to see the freedom of your trimming, so refreshing.

      Sally May Mills I agree, this is a very refreshing take on a traditional chawan! When i always think about making these i break them down into two types, "uniform(what you see sold in stores)" and also "feudal era(which looks more earthy and homemade)" but this style he did here is a type all his own. it will look so good after the staining. I wish i could see what colours he chose for it. i hope something along the lines of burgundy and a complimentary colour
