Jerry Krause brought in Phil Jackson, Tex Winter, Toni Kukuc, Scottie Pippen, Horace Grant, Dennis Rodman. So whether you like him or not he did a hell of a Job.
He did what every team management does. They try to assemble the best team. That doesn't mean squat once everything is assembled. Jordan pushed the entire team to it's limits and then some. He got better and better every year and drug the rest of the team behind him. If he wasn't the killer that he was and if he didn't sacrifice himself for the team they would just be like all the rest of the teams in the 90s. They might have snuck one in there, but not 6.

It's clear that Jerry played a pivotal role in shaping one of the most iconic teams in NBA history, and his contributions to the Chicago Bulls and the world of basketball are significant. At the same time, I understand that fans have strong feelings about the decisions made regarding the breakup of the championship team. Sports, at its core, is driven by passion, and sometimes this passion is expressed in ways that can be hurtful. It's important to remember the human element in these situations and the impact our actions and words can have on individuals, especially in emotionally charged environments. While we honor and celebrate the achievements, it's also crucial to navigate our expressions of disappointment or disagreement with kindness and consideration for the feelings of others, especially those who are personally connected to the history we cherish and debate.
The fact is that sooner or later, the team would've been broken up. It would have been great to go for 7, but then fans would be screaming for 8. No matter what, the fans were going to be upset when this team was gone. When you see a team as dominant as they were, you never want it to stop.
His own ego is what ended it and MJ never liked him because he tried to take all the credit which is nonsense

People who "hate" Krauss really don't know that even Jordan doesn't boo him. And not only that, Jordan went along witht Krauss decisions even when he disagreed. And this was part of winning the 6 championships want to accept it or not.
Jerry Krause is the only GM to prevent his team from defending their championship. Enough said. This is his legacy. It's sad but true.
If you’re maliciously doing that to Krause, why not do that to Jordan for leaving in 1993? Yeah his dad was taken THREE MONTHS earlier, but why come back? And why make extra excuses?
Krause made a decision based on his personal feelings and not what was good for the team. He should have been fired for sabotage or at least thrown in jail for destruction of private property for what he did to that team. He solidified his own legacy as the guy who dismantled a dynasty....PERIOD. That decision cannot be undone and his poor family has to live with it.

I'm really happy to see Luc attendance 😊😊😊
Luc Longley?
For those who are saying that Michael Jordan should have attended the ceremony, have you ever thought that maybe MJ is deeply hurt and doesn't want to break down in front of everyone? I'm sure the relationship with Scottie Pippen hit him hard, since he has given Pippen credit and praise his entire career. He even inducted Pippen into the Hall of Fame. It's not just some petty BS about a documentary. Pippen had shown signs of jealousy over their whole time together. Even when Pippen left the Bulls, he went to Houston to be their MJ and it didn't pan out. Now we rewrite history as if the Rockets didn't see him as a Jordan-level player, but in reality, he never was. Pippen ignored both of the times teams depended on him to be the leader, and he ended up being petty and showing horrible leadership skills. Jordan probably thought Pippen would have known by 2020 that he valued what he helped him achieve. But if saying he thought waiting to get surgery was selfish made Pippen that mad, then he was definitely waiting for something to get mad about. You can't tell me that one statement and replaying Pippen's own actions is something you can blame MJ about. Either way, I'm sure MJ just didn't feel okay doing the ceremony without the guy who helped him do it all.
💯💯💯💯💯
Well said!!
@Avarice-Zero -
There really was no serious need to be there. He doesn't live in Chicago anymore, and just him being there would zap all the energy from everyone else deserving to be interviewed before and after the ceremony. The Ring of Honor was a bit too late for Jerry to initiate and expect all the players to see it as a serious enough ceremony to make changes in their lives to attend.

The people who booed Jerry Krause should be ashamed of themselves Krause did not deserve that he was not the one that ended the Bulls dynasty he was just the scapegoat the one that ended it was the owner the person who signed the checks Jerry Reinsdorf, why would you breakup something if it wasn’t broken from the beginning? There were winning championships so they most likely weren’t making any money so Krause is the fall guy and Reinsdorf escaped the blame, really sad.
Shouldn't you blame MJ for that? MJ did not hide his disdain for Jerry Krause, dead or alive! And you know the fans are always gonna side with MJ! So if we're being real about it, MJ is partially the blame for that!
You 💯% right which is why I hate reinsdorf, he is a greedy p.o.s dirty business man and let krause be the fall guy. He's the boss and end of the day it's his decision on what happens
@ronaldolamont What blame should MJ receive? Just because he didn’t care for Krause is irrelevant, Jordan wasn’t accused of breaking up the team Krause was and that’s furthest from the truth, like I said Krause is the fall guy when all the booing should be directed towards Reinsdorf he’s the one that signed the checks.
Both Jerry's are to blame mostly. Who in their right mind would publicly announce that they would fire their champion coach and then later part ways with MJ.
