A recent eBay purchase of mine arrived in a large tampon box! Not sure I would choose to reuse that box!!! 😂 Thanks for this video. I'm going to team up with my mom to supplement her limited income by starting an Ebay shop to sell items she and the family has amassed. At 80+ years old, she has kept or collected many funky vintage and lovely antique items. Any and all tips on how to go about becoming a sellers are greatly appreciated. It feels quite overwhelming. BTW: Each package I've received from you has been a joy due to your packaging flourishes.
I love the extra personal touches you put in packaging your items. I bought an item on eBay recently that I was really pleased with. However, the seller make absolutely no communication with me--either via eBay nor in the package. Not even a business card or a thank you. I felt let down that the seller apparently wasn't excited for me to buy her pretty item. I didn't bother to look up and save her store for future reference. I always told my girls when they were growing up, "Presentation is everything." It covers lots of territory in life. Love your presentation!

Good video. I'm just starting on eBay, so there's a lot to learn. I'm seeing that I try to protect my fragile items by over wrapping which cost me more at the post office. Your video is informative, but not dull. Other videos on shipping is so tedious that it's a struggle to hold my focus.
If you don't have suitable boxes for box-within box, simply put peanuts on bottom, single layer, and then cut out a cardboard piece from scrap cardboard boxes, and put on top of peanuts, and tape to sides. Do this for all sides and it becomes a box within box with a layer of protection. I also don't use peanuts but rather,scrunched up newspaper and flyers.
I love the packaging and embellishments. I do the same and hope for repeat business as I’m a new reseller just starting out with my store. It’s just that little xtra touch that makes it special and it can be done so economically! I loved the domino and cute a Valentine wrapping you sent to me! 🤗
Thrifter, Junker, Vintage Hunter I think it’s probably just the time of year, people trying to get their projects done before everything spools up again. I love your channel, from your spirit to your knowledge (and of course Brutus even tho I’m obviously a cat-fan) it’s fantastic. I hope you don’t get too discouraged. When i have to weigh a large package that hides my scale, i will put a high item, (box or vase or?) on the scale, turn it on so it goes to 0, then add the package i am shipping, i get the correct weight then. My scale goes up to 75 pounds and i got it on Amazon.
