Fred Phelps' granddaughter said that when he was old and senile he had a change of heart and went over to the gay rights centre and said they were good people. Fred Phelps' granddaughter said that when he was old and senile he had a change of heart and went over to the gay rights centre and said they were good people. The church locked him in his house after this to save themselves from embarassment. Of course i have no idea if its true, the granddaughter had heard it second hand, but i like the idea of him redeeming himself in his last days.
