      I would have to disagree with you on that one... Of the six power forwards that you mentioned, four became NBA champions; while two never made it to the NBA finals. Dirk & Sheed each won one, but never made it back. Kmart took his team to the finals in back to back seasons, went to Denver & during his tenure there they were constantly in the playoffs, advancing to the Western Conference Finals once.

    • @cwl1919
      @cwl1919 Před 3 měsíci

      @@kevinallen6663 That’s cool. You can disagree but you’re wrong. J Kidd took that team to the Finals in back to back seasons… I actually live in Jersey and went to the games. The Nets were poverty until J Kidd got here… Melo and Billups lead those Denver teams. Nobody thinks of K Mart carrying a team… He was great defensively. Never developed an offensive game whatsoever. Not in the same tier. 🤷‍♂️

I guess I am looking at his defensive stats and they are not a much as I thought but everyone knows he impacted the game. It's not all about stats. Respect to Kenyon man was a workhorse. George Karl was the weakest link on that squad. Never coached or taught defensive fundamentals to the players who needed it when it would’ve helped that team so much, just some basic team defense fundamentals would’ve made a huge difference. He never took timeouts at the right times, never made proper adjustments, and had no strategy or wisdom for the players when he did call a timeout, usually just ‘rah rah go get em’ type stuff.

    True story… years ago the nets came to play Milwaukee I had company seat behind the visitors bench .. Being very shy until I got some liquid courage in me after about the 1st quarter K mart defense was terrible that game .. I started talking mad 💩 2 all the Nets.. they were talking back too.. best experience I’ve ever had at a sporting event hands down.. I kept calling Vince Carter T-Mac .. the bench said I should learn basketball before I start talking..Then I pulled out the best line ever.. I told them I’d learn basketball if they agreed that K-mart was playing like trash.. they all started laughing 😂I said hold on you also need to change his name from K-mart to Aldi’s cause he’s trash.. OMG they all started laughing.. long story short TMac I mean Cater got the last laugh put up like 50 and told me to shut my fatass up and gave his shoes to they folks next to me… loved every minute of that night.. fyi the Nets won
