The good thing about snap is you don’t have to play snap much to keep up. Dailies are usually easy and I can do a day’s set of 6 in one play session. You don’t have to do weekend missions or conquest, as there is minimal progress from those. However, while this is one of snap’s greatest strength, it’s also one of its biggest weaknesses. Because this also means there is no incentive to play a lot of snap.
Glad you're taking the break instead of forcing yourself to play for content reasons and get extra frustrated. I feel like the team has been doing well with hearing community feedback and hopefully they'll do something for your competitive itch!
I feel ya. I just play to pass time. I've never hit infinite because I don't see the point and conquest is a time suck that has horrible returns. So I just do dailies and log out.

The game never felt like it had the same urgency when I got Pool 3 complete, and I used to think that was when the game begins. It's getting harder just to log in and complete my daily missions with real life activities in the way, but your Marvel Snap era was really fun and I hope this game catches your eyes again.
I started playing this game, I enjoyed it a lot for a couple weeks, then it hit me: the game requires you to play compulsively for hours and the predatory potential was huge. Quitted immediately.
I’m with you with conquest being a core misunderstanding of the game and it’s mechanics and selling point. Also the fact that the game expects you either to grind you life away or pay and also grind to get anywhere is a tragedy. We’re talking days worth of playing conquest for a cosmetic item. Weeks of grinding for a spotlight cache to get 3 cosmetics instead of a new card. MARVEL Snap could really benefit with just making the F2P experience good unapologetically and with no catch, but considering it’s a mobile game, I don’t see that happening

They need to Clash Royale the competitive scene. Create a game mode/ event… Give access to every card for every player from FTP to whale… put them in an in game event/ tournament for real world prizes. From the words of Field of Dreams.. If you build a competitive scene, they will come.
@@NakieYodamost cards aren’t essential or meta. For every one card like Jeff, there are usually 3-4 cards that you don’t need to play competitively. And even then, ppl without Jeff, high evo, etc. have other viable deck options to still be competitive.
I’m ok with them nerfing cards but the way they do it feels kind of shady because there is an obvious pattern: 1) Card gets released on Season Pass 2) Card is OP 3) After they got your money card gets nerfed. 😂 Rinse, repeat.
My problem with the game is it seems whenever I get a deck I like, key cards get changed so much, the deck is ruined. I barely even log in for my free measly 50 credits.

Hey Mobile. I quit last month because of nerfs. On a F2P got tokens to get Shuri...they nerf, then Galactus...nerfed, then Thanos...nerf. The nerfs for 'balanced' killed the game
The queue times are driving me away. I had to wait SEVEN MINUTES for proving grounds the other day. It's not uncommon to see five or six minute waits as well.

Couldn’t agree with you more MG. I tried really hard to reach infinite this season and made it with a control deck. Pretty shocked at how many bots I faced when I did. The worst kind too. I play casually as something different to my other games but more recently I've found it less enjoyable because they've put so much stuff in there that's necessary to advance in any way so it's a lot less casual player friendly now. I tried to try conquest mode once - I gave up after a full 2min waiting for it to find an opponent and haven't bothered since! There's no story or anything much else to the game other than collecting everything - there's not a lot of competitive aspects and all the modes are incredibly similar due to the nature of the game. I feel like a lot of players may go the same way as you have and just walk away because it's become boring to play and the investment isn't bringing the enjoyment.

I feel the same, albeit slightly lower level than you. I'm in the 90s and just... It's not exciting enough right now to make me want to get to 100. I get a card back? Is that all? They need to rework both the rewards, and the game modes. Conquest is too long. They should consider a Pokemon Go style Raid system, where you attack one target as a group of friends. It feels like such a solo, single player affair, with no interaction with others.
It also feels bad to spend 6000 tokens on a card for it to be nerfed the next week with no refund...I dont use collector tokens anymore because that happened to me with Galactus and HE
Just worked hard for a spotlight cache and finally got it was hoping for any of the four shown like knull but I got a copy of a card I have 3 different variants. Now I'm quitting I don't have any meta cards and now I get doubles of bad cards. Done.
Yeah I just quit in the last couple weeks. Nothing has changed. They release a card, it breaks the game, they nerf. Everyone plays whatever the latest content creator is playing. Bots cheat harder after rank 70. Unlocking cards is a joke with the spotlight caches. No series drops anymore. Monetization everywhere. So on and so on. I could keep going but you get the idea.

Conquest is great. After they made infinite so easy any old mouth breather could climb, i lost all interest in ladder except the 500 gold reward at 90. Playing ladder after conquest is like slapping around a bunch of toddlers, even real people on ladder are usually so laughably dumb i think they are bots until they start emote spamming 😂
Conquest is dumb. It breaks the point of SNAP, and it takes too long to get done with a match. Spotlight Cache has been a bad system. There is no endgame. Card acquisition is still garbage. Just...man, I've struggled to get through more than an hour of this game now.
There is deck matching I was at 98 this season they updated and I've dropped to 80 and since then cannot climb with my bounce deck or Evo deck...I swear if I start to win I'm matched against a deck that is impossible for me to beat, the weekly nerfs are stupid, all they are doing is literally forcing people to play new cards, Mirage is ok in a bounce deck with hit monkey, but 🤷

I'm surprised it took you so long. People get so butthurt when you criticize this game, but the reality is that the game itself is not good. The mechanics require quitting which is just a terrible mechanic for fun gameplay. When you get to competitive opponents, you play maybe 1/10 matches all the way through and most retreat early in the match.

I quit because of the predatory monetisation model. Lack of new content,one new card a week doesn’t change the meta at all.
