- I finally got a chance to play the Barons in a Mill Deck! Both Baron Zemo and Baron Mordo can effectively delete your opponent's resources and leave them without any cards to play, which is an especially despicable gameplan when Kamar-Taj is the Hot Location.

Power Estimate: This deck is built with greed and fun in mind first and foremost, and although it had a solid 10-6 run, that was biased pretty heavily by a Hot Location that won't be there to help out on regular days. I think it's a fine and capable deck, but I wouldn't recommend it for climbing normally.

Hey folks, I've been a little behind the curve on videos this week, I've had some family health stuff steal me away a bit.
I was supposed to play this deck idea Wednesday and got to it Sunday... I'm hoping to get back ahead of the curve Tuesday with the new card (and I think new patch balance stuff).
Sorry to hear you had some bad RNG Regis, but you still have some very decent power on the board dont worry. Big Musclar guys curved out well.

I think everyone was waiting to see how you would make mill worse but also more fun. Hope all is okay and when you usually upload hours after a card release you have built up more than enough equity in the community to take time when you need it!

Great Content bro, I can't stand milling, because it's so fun when playing it but awful feeling when you're getting COOKED.
luckily you can retreat amd they cam take one whole cube while you move on. those decks may be fun to play but they aren't great for climbing.

@@TheKayasto I've got a sand ramp hella deck on my channel with red hulk which is very good against the current meta. Change up a couple of cards to fit the featured location and you are golden!

Not only that, they probably lost 3 cubes with their shitty snapping skills. If they snap before Shang, they get an extra cube. If they don't boomer snap, they may have actually gotten 4 cubes. But nope, they snap emoted on ONE cube, so moronic lol

same as well... while it isn't this type of deck but Cable, Korg, Rockslide, Yondu, some even run Gladiator too...

The interaction at 23:47 seems unintuitive to me. Baron Zemo was the last card you played, so why would Absorbing Man copy Spider-Ham?
a card doesn’t count as “played” until it’s reveal is over, Zemo’s reveal doesn’t count as over until the cards he summons’ reveals end. Jubilee works the same way.

i think its because a card doesn't count as played until its effect is resolved. baron zemo is still being played atm
Literally faced this deck or a variation in 12 straight games yesterday. Won 8 of them, had Kamar Taj in all but 2, but decided not to play until the featured location is something else.
I truly despise playing against this meta, the “Steal decks” idk what to call them, are definitely de most annoying, aside from cosmo no counter :/

Red hulk/bigger decks really body this meta. They steal cards to big to play, force me to summon massive minions from deck or hand. Almost infinity just running big cards with madok hela combo

Yeah Hela is good because either they summon big ass cards that can't be gladiatored or played from Cable, or they summon sif and corvus glaive and discard their own hand. Hard to play against for sure though

I have a different variation I’ve been running since zemo released, instead of baron mardo, spider pig, and doom I used iron lad, absorbing man, and leader

I saw a reddit recommendation to buff baron mordo in a way that would better fit the zemo mill deck: Mordo would keep his stats but his ability would draw the lowest cost card out of the opponent's deck and set it to 6 cost.
What is the thing in the top right that you can see your card and your opponents cards. How do you get that?
A deck tracker? Untapped has one but it's only for pc unfortunately.

It's my day off, and I wanted to climb. I was enjoying myself, then I ran into a whole gaggle of these decks. I think im done for day.
Ive had more success working Iron Lad and Absorbing Man into this deck. So many retreats.

The location said "skip a turn to destroy your rocks" which mean it hit all the rock on our side no matter what location they're in (sr english is not my first language)

Problem with mill in snap is: When it works, you'll never get 8 cubes.
The only thing you can hope for is that the opponent will concede out of frustration in conquest.

@@shady-mx9qg Mill, Move, Loki, Surfer, maybe good big cards, and Sandman are the big ones in my opinion. But I absolutely support Shadowslayer50's sentiment. I'm still winning a lot but the mill decks are right up there with junk and crap like that in terms of pure frustration while in game. It just feels like random bullshit followed by random bullshit. No true sense of mastery, maybe that will change but I really doubt it.

Lmao why ? It's the weakest meta ever. Play Loki if you see the Yandu and you have 1 card generator (Snow Guard or Colson) with loki. Immediately snap. Free 2 to 4 cubes😂
