Hi there, Would anyone be able to answer this question for me. I already have my business name registered with the IRS and I stuck on something that I am hoping that you might be able to help me. I am trying to get clients that are already getting care giver service from Health and Welfare. Once I get clients that are covered by medicare, how do I get the government to pay me first? Once I get a client, I would have to hire a care taker for clients and where would I get the money for that?

@@Serenity5812 I hate to say this but I can only go by experience and I never got paid. I literally have a VIP right now in the same situation for months and haven’t gotten paid. The major medical insurance companies follow the guidelines of Medicare. Medicare doesn’t pay, they will keep telling you to bill; however it’s a waste of time.
1. Private pay.
2. Long term care.
3. Medicaid waivers.

Traditional Medicare doesn’t cover the services offered under non skilled home care.

Based on my experience Humana doesn’t pay for home care in Ga. Especially if their primary is Medicare.
