I noticed for the cross court block, sometimes you have a driving motion but sometimes a swiping motion, where the racket head goes from left to right.
The reason im asking is i am familiar with the driving one, but am trying to learn that swiping one. I have seen a player mainly use that swiping motion cross block and the shuttle tends to land close to the line compared to the drive block. Any advice how to improve that swiping motion type?

Yes, it depends a lot of the positioning where I meet the shuttle. The main thing, relaxed grip and relaxed upper body! Practice that and you’ll get to learn it💪
