    I knew danish would die the day KRQ said in an interview “asal saza tou zinda reh jana hoti hai”. It was a predictable end yet like amna said the only logical end. The performances and direction were fantastic throughout. And with that Meray pass tum ho goes down in history as the most popular pkaistani drama ever.

    When Danish goes to see her. The way she was looking at him.. priceless..
    When he says don't touch me.. she was just crying and helpless.. that was the biggest punishment..
    After death also he didn't want her to come to his grave.. means that was just like biggest biggest thing in the world..
    Now she has responsibility of roomie as well. But at the end rommie goes to Hania teacher rather be with his monther..
    Mehwish gets biggest punishment.. it is very difficult to live a life like this with endless guilt and sadness..
    I don't care about she even loved him or not..
    But when she cried at the end sobbing like that said something else..
    Shehwar on the other hand didn't get enough punishment..
    Maham is a strong woman.. but still felt bad for her.. when she was talking to him with her filled eyes..
    It was heartbreaking to see danish dead..
    When he says to roomie that they will meet in his dreams. Seriously...
    Mere Pass Tum Ho is a heartbreaking story..
    Danish had nothing when Mehwish leaves him.. he was dead after that night.. it is a tragedy... It seems even they would have showed that danish marries Hania n lives happily that would have make me think seriously is that justifiable? Then danish's "mere pass to tum ho mehwish" would have been a just one liners.. his death shows his love.. his helplessness.. but the punishment he gives to her is more than his love..
    I will never forget this dramma.. the dialogues.. learnings of life..
    All the actors did fantastic job.. but Ayeza khan should get her credit.. it is important.. in every scene, her looks, her delivery, her execution was on top.. please get her interviewed.
    I hope there are still men like Danish.. who loves there wifes like hell... I hope they still do....
    Love from India...

    I remember, when we were waiting for "Avenger's Endgame", there were several fan theories circulating about the possible ending, however the way movie concluded was remarkable. The finale was beyond anyone's expectation and that movie delivered at the level of expectation & curiosity.
    Unfortunately in case of MPTH, that didn't happened. The ending looked like being written under pressure or to please some critics. Un-realistic scenarios, poor editing and poor acting is the summary of that last episode. Doctor: please wear your oxygen mask. Danish: I am fine: Doctor: Ok..... what the hell? Danish: Romi can you see that my heart line is straightened.... what the hell? Do any one in direction team knows what the heart attack is? Can you deliver a speech at such critical moment and can a child come to meet a patient in CCU?....Mehwish kept watching Danish deteriorating condition until he passed out,, just because danish said don't touch me... wow....Just wow. Imagine Haniya asking romi: will you come to school tomorrow? please bring my ring... whats the point in this?
    I am disappointed from KRQ as well. He has written the drama, the ost, the screen play and portray's himself as "Inqalibi" and yet producer & director changed the ending (for unknown reasons)... A death is not the solution to every problem. I am not asking for happy ending but i don't want such un realistic death. Let's say if danish had an heart attack when mehwish left him, then this fatal attack should be more "medically" logical.
    I was waiting for "5/10 year later..." stuff, as this story is not entirely about danish...there remains many things like romi, legal stuff etc. Legal in the sense that Mehwish is not the widow of danish so what will happen to all the wealth of danish. Moreover, what made shahwar to become a good guy suddenly? Losing Chairmanship? He was like "i don;t deserve to get the right of divorce"... is this Shahwar? This transition's trigger point needs to be pretty dam good.
    To wrap up, i must say drama fell short of delivering upto that level of my expectation. I also want to highlight that open ended conclusions of dramas (which is now becoming a trend in Pak) will be disastrous for our drama as you cannot leave everything upto the imagination of audience. Writer should be capable enough to conclude the drama.
    I am sorry to say but MPTH is now not the number 1 drama of Pakistan.

    • @allwincomputers3580
      @allwincomputers3580 Před 4 lety +5

      Well.... U r right in many points but,this was the only way to conclude his love for mehwish,his heart couldn't bear the pain, mehwish ko uski bewafaiy ki saza milgyi.... danish ne sirf or sirf mehwish se muhabbat ki thi tou uska dil tooth gaya..... There were some spectacular dialogues
      " jannat chorh kr jao tou jannat nahi milti"
      Abba kehte thay ameer aadmi bann na
      "Ameer aadmi woh hota hai jiske jaib main uski kamaiy hoti hai uski qeemat nahi hoti"
      It was heart wrenching end though...
      But it concluded the story his heart was so weak that usko heart attack hogaya usko chorh kr kisi aur se shadi nahi kr sakta tha na usko qabool.krsakta tha... Tou mehwish ko saza milgyi abh woh na suicide krsakti hai because Rumi ko chorh k chalagaya hai...abh woh joh usne bewafaiy ki uske liye daily mara kreygi aur saari zindagi royaa kareygi....
      Issmain har uss insaan k liye seekh "lesson" hai joh bewafaiy krta hai....
      Everyone has there own opinion mera yeh tha aap ka alag ....😊

I will remember this serial for many good reasons but i must say that the ending was totally disappointing.

  • @scorpionsz7392
    @scorpionsz7392 Před 4 lety +69

    About the ending, I kind of see where everyone who loved the ending is coming from. People die from broken hearts, it's a legitimate condition.
    However, I would have preferred KRQ's ending because that one would have been far more realistic.
    Yes, people do die from broken hearts but it's not THAT common and his death just seemed like a convenient plot point.
    Yes, Mehwish cheated but her punishment was a bit too much.
    I would have liked the ending if Danish had lived because betrayal does seem like the end of life for everyone but it's not. Your life doesn't end if someone leaves you, even if you feel like it does at that moment. Life goes on and you continue to live and experience happiness, sadness and everything else.
    The ending would have left a huge mark if they had opted for the more realistic ending.
    Nadeem's ending makes sense too but that doesn't mean that it does justice to MPTH's legacy.

      Yours review is more realistic than what they showed but if the writer is Khalil Ur Rehman then you expect this kind of end because in this way he showed how innocent men are whereas if Aiza or Roomi died then he couldn't show the maximum cruelty done on Danish though it is true from scientific point of view that man of young age between 25 to 35 years old could not survive heart attack. But anyway they shouldn't kill Danish because people compromise specially if they have a kid like Romi.

    I also felt that they tried to make this into an “amar prem kahani”- at least when it came to Danish.
    I just cannot buy the heart attack and subsequent death. Danish could have come over and left with proper dignity. For some reason everyone kept thinking that he should meet her- like it would make a difference. He could have proven them wrong by coming over, having his chai with bazaar ke snacks and basically told her that she needs to move on and that she needs to leave him alone (the things he said while he was having the heart attack- It was the most satisfying part of the episode). It would have been more realistic and made her and her advocates realize that he meant what he had been saying to them all along- No means No!!
    As Rumi arrived, he should have asked him to hang out for a bit and then come home in time for dinner or something. Then he should have stopped at the teacher/fiancé’s house and told her that he needs a little more time to sort out his feelings and that he wants to try his best to make her happy in the future.
    Maham being the strong character that she is supposed to be, should never have made Shehwar the offer that she did. She should have let him go with a powerful final verbal shot.
    🙂

    #Hassannnn you and I share the same favorite dialogues. When Danish says that k Tumnay karli bewafai, you should have moved on. Why did you came back to me (puarana wafadar) , now what do I do ".
    Uffff that was so potent and emotional!
    It also concluded that firstly Mehwish's cheating and secondly her selfishness and self-centeredness of seeing him around her killed him. She just didn't leave him alone to let him live peacefully and he eventually died.

    *The episode was too slow* Especially Danish's last interaction with Rumi. The poor kid just stood there for 15-20 mins listening to the dying man's falsafa (, which was supposed to make impact but was prolonged unnecessarily) .
    *Some scenes/dialogues could've been edited out easily.*
    And even the corridor scene with Mehwish and Hania crying wasn't impactful. Think they should've taken close ups of their expressions.
    The ending was expected and fitted actually but the execution was slow.
    P.S: Amna @ 5:17 and 6:52 :) couldn't help but notice she has got such cute smile mashaAllah

      Yes that's exactly what I was thinking. The conclusion wasn't even that bad. But only if they had shot it better, acted better, reduced the timing to just one hour with no recaps and breaks and shit. And maybe let it escalate quickly. There were no OMG moments. Not a single action. Not even KRQ's philosophy. Just long boring dialogues. And maybe they shouldn't have left the characters of maham shahwar so open. And what happens to Hania. No one knows. So unjust to her. And mahwish and roomi weren't even reacting enough to Danish's death. If it were so hard and energy draining for them to enact a whole real Mouring/ wailing scene, then they should've just remained silent, implying that they're in a shock or something. It would've been easier to pull off and more impactful.

    Dying of love after 8 years of marriage and a son does not make a Romeo Juliet or Laila Majnu pair.
    THERE WAS A SON, FOR GOODNESS SAKE.
    It was also one sided.
    It only showed Danish as a self obsessed person. Where was his son's place in his life? Was there no love there?
    Anyway, if he was such a weak character he was better dead.

    I 100% agree with you Hassan, about Danish’s dialogue what he said to Aiza when he was by the door in so much pain, that was just absolutely wonderful ending summary from Danish and a reality check for Aiza who was still in the dream world thinking everything can still get back to normal after all the destruction she had caused to her family!!
    What happened after that you are right is disputable. I feel that the heart attack was dragged too much as realistically this doesn’t happen in real life. Up to the point where Danish was with Aiza chalo that’s acceptable but then when he’s at the hospital on his death bed and speaks with Rumi for so long without an oxygen mask and then to the point when his heart line goes straight.. lol that didn’t look realistic at all! They could have done a little better there.. but over all, the drama, the acting, the direction, the dialogues and last but not least the story was amazing!!! Well done a great success 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 mashaALLAH ❤️

    Seriously the ending failed to deliver a magnanimous outcome of such a hyped drama!!The meek and weak nuances of certain scenes kind of killed the depth.If one looks at it from an arguable intellect then one argues that how come Mehwish didn't have the brains to call her neighbor much before.Secondly in no given circumstances can a doctor remove an oxygen mask if its crucial.To be honest throughout various episodes the emphasis of thought and emotion lost its importance due to many hiccups in dialogue articulation.The sequential scenes leading up to the end had no strong emphatic deliverance except Danish.Everybody seemed to be abstract!!The logic even if given a poetic license seemed to fail terribly.

    Ending was perfect made complete sense to me . Only the ICU part was completely ridiculous & unreal, a 6 year old coming inside operation theatre n the doctors letting him take the oxygen mask out, this is called medical negligence which they shouldn’t have shown.
    I loved danishs dialogue with Mahwish , it proved how selfless his love was & how selfish she was even in the end he said when you have done bewafai , & other person does bewafai with u in return why u want to come back to wafadar?move on let me live now. But she was so selfish from inside , if she wasn’t she would never have wanted to come
    Back in his life and would have prayed for him
    To marry some one else.
    Shahwars dialogue on Mahwish was completely justified based on her character as she left her happy family just for money . Please stop blaming khalil ur rehman for all these dialogues. I think he’s very creative & one of the best dialogues I have seen in any drama recently. Being a woman I can say all his dialogues regarding Mahwish’s character completely made sense to what she was & what she did.

    • @aliyabawany2444
      @aliyabawany2444 Před 4 lety

      No, Shahwar's judgement for Mehwish with, "God doesn't listen to the woman who breaks her home" and "I don't feel sorry for Mehwish, it was her own doing" shouldn't be used to absolve him of his guilt of tearing apart two families.
      He was the one who lured her in by complimenting her physical attributes constantly while she was married to another man, debasing her by offering her a job as "director's secretary" right before arranging a trip for another city, compelling her to lie to her husband, reinforcing the message that her marriage was a mistake not made in the skies, etc.
      Mehwish isn't to be blamed alone.

    • @aliyabawany2444
      @aliyabawany2444 Před 4 lety

      He was complicit. He made everything she was blessed with in her life feel small and insignificant, not by belonging to a higher strata himself, but by using reductive words, and promising a more materialistic lifestyle.
      Everyone in the play including that neighbor, was obsessed with the idea that she deserved a better life just because she was beautiful.
      She was no saint herself but why does no one ever talk about how absurdly everyone was behaving and how conveniently they changed their stance later as if their life mission was testing the integrity and loyalty of the woman?
      She is responsible for her own actions, she isn't a child, but why is Shahwar giving her a hard time by acting morally superior?

    • @Noor8030
      @Noor8030 Před 4 lety +1

      Well Mahwish used to enjoy montys flirtatious attitude too ...not even once she said I m a married respectable woman n stop flirting with me . I am also a married woman and I dnt allow any man to flirt with me even when I am at a work place .
      So I m sorry but I disagree with u , I think Mahwish would have left danish fr any rich guy even if it wasn’t shahwar .

    A great drama - until today’s episode. Firstly as you said a 20 minute recap. The number of breaks on live TV and the length of each break was just unbearable. They kept breaking the little momento that the episode had.
    Hated the ending. I was really rooting for HS to have a heart attack to signify his broken heart. But then to make a new life with Haniah and romi. I wanted MEhwish to get on now and live with this regret.
    What did shahwar decide to do in the end? The drama needed a little extra then what was given. So what happened with romi? Did he go back and live6with mehwish and did he have haniah is his life at all.
    Ending was all wrong for me. I feel sorry for those who paid to go to the cinema.
    And I too felt it was a very close copy of the end of kal ho na ho. But executed very poorly in comparison- from the scene to the dialogues. Poor haniah was just say- danish could have said some closing words for her.

    First of all, the ending was too overdramatic and filmy. Plenty of technical errors and slow pace ruined the show. Shehwar didn't get the punishment which he deserved to. Ayeza and Humayun performed in a limited space. Besides, why they kept lingered on to the Forgiving fiasco? I personally spoke to Aamna at the event and she was right in saying that it was a bit dragged and the ending was what it was expected. Hassan seemed a bit disappointed with the climax.
