So I'm now watching this for the third time. My Favourite Frantic Four song - and to think after Milton Keynes I thought it would never be performed live again. Superb.
I am literally smiling from ear to ear watching this. Whichever way your musical tastes go, more complex, more heavy, if you grew up as a rocker in the early 70's, your first love will almost always be Status Quo - and for a glorious period (for me, Dog of Two Head through to Blue For You) they were unstoppable. I was at the live recording of 'Roll over lay Down', and I saw them on the 'Blue for you' tour at Bingley. Years later, as a pro musician, I met JC. Top man. This line up is THE line-up.
Of all the videos I've watched on CZcams this has to be the single most spine tingling! So good to see Alan take the lead for the first few, and in great voice. Superb lead from Frame. Utterly superb - from those of us who couldn't make it to see them thank you so much for posting this.
I saw them at Hammersmith on Friday, my dad did 4 tours on sound with them in the early 70's and even mended Alan lancaster's boiler! Anyway it was one of the best rock'n'roll gigs I've ever been to...going to buy all their early albums now...except Piledriver...because I've got it already! What a band. Hope they do this again.
Toni just home from seeing QUO again in Glasgow awesome gig you have a dad to be proud of ive met him a number of times and he is such a true gent hard to find these days i wish him all the best
Was at the Wembley Arena 17th March Awesome to see the guys Back together & They haven't lost any of the old magic, Fantastic. Only thing was no Paper Plane Or Caroline
Mod this up! Thanx a million for uploading your videos capturing the greatest night in Quo history. What a thrill it is to see these guys playing together again and sounding so - well like QUO! Like the above poster said, absolutely spine tingling!
Thanks so much for posting these, dreamed of this gig for most of my life but alas my first baby boy is due anytime now, sod's law but these clips are really appreciated Ted, cheers geezer.
hi Ted just like 2 say ur a top man love the quo and seen this footage is brilliant i haven't seen the quo now in a few years hoping the will tour ireland this year and doing the reunion tour here also you have great footage it makes me emotional looking at it never taught i would c this day of the fab 4 together again thanks again for showing this here happy man here may quo continue 4 many years

Yeah thanks Ted for posting this amazing Quo stuff other wise a lot of us wouldn't see it. Really great to see this stuff , its a real shame us Australians won't see this Quo , I am going anyway to see the boys in OZ just wish for a change we could see the old boys doing it. Cheers
Roll on Saturday !!!! Off to Hammersmith, im like a kid waiting for Xmas Day :):):):):) Never thought this would happen, cheers for uploading this just to tide me over !!!!
Roll on Saturday !!!! Off to Hammersmith, im like a kid waiting for Xmas Day :):):):):) Never thought this would happen, cheers for uploading this just to tide me over !!!! Mr Lancaster401, lay off Rhino, he was given an opportunity most of us can only dream about !!!! Everyone knows the real Quo is Rossi Parfitt Lancaster Coghlan you dont need to keep reminding us !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you! It's great to see the love and respect the Quo have. I vet all comments as they come in and I think in over 50 comments I've deleted one troll! This is my hobby and I do it for no financial gain but get a great deal of pleasure out of it and by the feedback so do many more! All the best and enjoy the band in OZ! regards Ted
I absolutely fucking LOVE this. OK, not the greatest sound or picture, but it sums up the atmosphere in the stalls and what we'd all been dying to hear for 30-odd years. I was at Hammy and it was the same. Just hearing the crowd belting it out, fucking awesome. And Rick, Nuff and Spud just bloody loving it too. Not so FR I'm afraid, clearly. I'd rather watch this than that processed stuff they knocked out on the official Wembley DVD. This is what it's all about.
If you ever get chance to put the whole gig up I'd love to see that, got the 20 quid cd just need the vision lol... thanks for posting the clips, really enjoyed them, and no sign of the Quoite yet, little sodsox :)
Coghlan, in particular, is on fire here - It's as if he's been wound up over the course of 30+ years and finally let loose on the Quo crowd again last night! Nice to see Lancaster back, in good form, fronting the band again as well and Rick and Francis stepping back, until guitar solo warrants Francis to take the spotlight for a few seconds! Bring on Hammersmith on March 15th!

Rhino has been in Quo long enough to know he will always be second favourite to Alan and so I am sure he can take negative comments about his position in Quo on the chin.Same goes for Matt Letley as he will always be second favourite to John.
wtf .... andy bown is and always will be the fifth frantic / these gigs were specifically designed to be the orig four only... matt has left the band after many years of superb drumming . ... as for alan replacing rhino dont be ridiculous... al is not well with ms for past decade ... great to see the driving force again even if its only short lived....been waiting for this for years.
Hello again Lancaster and Coghlan but goodbye Bown Edwards and letly?? You just can`t pick up where you left off guys. You left, and these guys replaced you. I love Quo to bits but if they dump the current line up just to reform the original band then its a big thums down from me.
this is what quo fans have been missing for 30 odd years..awsome band.

God bless the Grand Old Men of Rock and Roll, I never thought i'd be lucky enough to see this reunion in my lifetime
Unbelievably epic song played by the best band ever!
Wow! No-one can do this like Alan Lancaster. As great as when I saw them in 1984.
I saw them at Hammersmith on Friday, my dad did 4 tours on sound with them in the early 70's and even mended Alan lancaster's boiler!
