I cannot give Cameron respect. He is not elected to office, his manner is described as akin to Lord Snooty, his views do not represent mine.

Frick all Cameron does goes to plan, remember he thought he could win Brexit.😂

  • @GreenMorningDragonProductions

The words "David Cameron" and diplomacy" do not go together. Remember when, as PM he went to the EU with his "list of demands" before the Brexit vote, came back with Zip Jack Diddley and tried to make it look like a win? And then he was all butt hurt, and took his ball home, when 52% of voters saw right through it and Remain lost. The only reason he managed to hang on to Scotland is because Alistair Darling did most of the talking, and legwork. And then he goes blabbing off, about the late Queen's reaction to the Scottish referendum and had to make a grovelling apology. The man is absolutely hopeless.

As a Brit in the US for 13 years, I can say with certainty the UK overestimates her importance on the global stage. It’s not Cameron’s fault, either in his fruitless negotiations with the EU or now in the USA, it is a nation in decline, a nation that is increasingly unimportant. I say that with sadness.

American living in Britain here. Britain needs to find a way to mount a resurgence and stop being so dour and nihilistic. The British Empire’s collapse was the greatest geopolitical disaster in the world since World War II.

@@dylanbuffenbarger8557 The British Empire didn't collapse. It was a comparatively orderly dismantling, when you look at the fiasco of how say, the French Empire disintegrated. However it could've been even more successful had Britain been given more time, particularly by the US to ensure orderly, constitutional mechanisms were in place, in order for many ex-colonies to NOT become the dictatorial, political and economic basket cases that they turned into, once Britain left. The Commonwealth has helped with the transition to nationhood for many countries, but even that's being decried as an irrelevant imperialist institution now. Sheesh!!
