I've seen many photos and even other videos of this property, but you really don't get a true sense of the scale and grandeur until you see actual people walking through it. Simply amazing, and almost overwhelming. But I could get force myself to get used to it :)

With the recent inflationary costs, and pandemic pressures put on people in blue states, the migration to a red state like Florida by the rich & middle class has resulted in the doubling of housing costs--especially in the high-end market. This house has been around for years--many videos have been done on it. This house was originally built for a doctor & atty, husband & wife. Because this home is so far away from the water, its price is reflective. Put this on the water on Miami, Fort Lauderdale, boca raton, etc., and the house would double/triple in price.

Does anyone else find it kind of wasteful to build houses so massive? Like who is living/eating here? A football team? But then again, houses this big help keep others employed. Imagine the house staff needed for just dusting and maintaining the pool area.
When you think about it. How many square feet does the average person occupy? If they work, they come home and are in the bathroom, laundry room, kitchen, family room, bedroom. Can you imagine having to go up and down those stairs every day. I go up and down, anywhere from eight to ten times a day in a place that has steps, but not that many steps.
Imagine the light, water and landscaping bill.
@@maivjyk9327 on the site the hoa is $2600 a month and the estimated monthly costs are over $110,000(that's like buying another house every year for 30 years) not including utilities and the landscaping you mentioned. Somehow though I don't think they pay monthly; 19M cash as she stated probably.

It is like the most exquisite, private place to enjoy, entertain or be entertained on the grandest of levels. It stimulates every tangible sense & rewards it further in wonder. I usually prefer curves to straight angles, but this place magically wraps curves & merges it's clean, straight lines in dramatic ways I never imagined possible. I am like you... captivated but wanting more. Very nice.

@@tbhfm2691 FL does in fact have a property tax on homes though its much smaller compared to other states.. about 0.98% is the tax rate. Average in FL is 1,752p/yr.
@@tbhfm2691 the property tax is $18,683 per month over 224,000 a year. It was around 13,000 a year at some point and the lowest was $99 a year. I'm guessing the original structure was torn down and this one was built up.
If you can afford $20 M house then you can afford the property tax.

It's really sobering how ppl can pay $19 million or $22 million IN CASH for a mansion with no sweat, yet you have the average person taking a mortgage for their house because they can't afford to buy it all at once and pay for it for however many years the amortization period is (15 yrs, 20 yrs, etc).

House sold for 19 million in March. It’s located in western part of Palm Beach County not really much around there. But some like to be away from the hustle and bustle of a major downtown area.
It sold for the price that they actually wanted and not mark up price of $22 million dollars.

The master bedroom was a major disappointment considering the grandeur of the home .. The architect should have placed the master bedroom overlooking the the estate so when you wake up you have amazing views .. the master bathroom for him was another disappointment .. Not much natural light pouring in the home and bedrooms .. some nice interior touches but definitely a poor choice in choosing the architectural firm .. If you love modern contemporary homes then please have a look at McLean design, they do some awesome work ..
