If you don't do the braids so tight to the scalp they should be able to be moved up, down, forward and backwards without pain while still being neat foe a long time.
Just a friendly reminder to NEVER put your hair into a ponytail with fresh braids, it can cause traction alopecia . Which is literally balding due to forced pressure on the scalp . ✨The more you know✨
Been doing mine since 91 when micros first became popular. Depending on how tight you grasp & tight you put the holder. If you pull too tight to put it in one then yes.
I've worn braids at least 9 months out of the year for over 15 yrs. These bad boys immediately gets pulled up and no problems at all. I do braids as well as my own. I personally think alopecia is something that was going to happen on a person anyway. But no one whose braids I've done for years has alopecia. Had a client with alopecia already come for services.
rule of thumb. don't ponytail your box braids after getting them freshly braided. not only is that more pressure on the scalp but could cause traction alopecia and damage to the hair follicles. ...plus it just hurts anyways.
@@iamthecocoacure6519 Exactly I’ve seen a lot of post of people being fooled into thinking they have “knotless” braids. Just because your braids are SMALL does not mean they are KNOTLESS!
I’m about to do this with human hair the girls say synthetic is day to day maintenance…I’m abundantly greatful for this video tho too cuz putting the hair back through the braid for extra security is a major key🙌🏾
I do this same method but use a curlier hair. That way you can take it out when it gets tangled and re do it. He hair is blonde guys so it looks weird and I leave my hair out in the front too ..less breakage..bc they will try to put every piece of hair in that braid and my front line is sensitive. It's a Hard NO for me lol
Judging how fresh her roots look, it’s most likely Because she probably bleached her hair first, then dyed her hair to make her roots look similar to the braid color, and bleach is a chemical that irritates the scalp, then applying the color, then geting the comb and braid gel scraped across the scalp, she set herself up for her hair and scalp to be in a more fragile state. Her scalp and strands are thanking her back for what she did to them 🥴
So true cause when u first get it freshly braided and try to put it into a high or low bun pony it hurts so u have to do it kinda daily so u will get used to it

Judging by the root of the braids.... these aren't knotless.... just individuals...

Knotless braids are hurting after getting them done?! Sis, that braider did you DIRTY.

If your braids hurt after the install it’s not Knotless, it’s just a smaller knoted braid and your braider finessed you 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
Facts , there are literal knots at the base 🤦🏾♀️
@@iamthecocoacure6519 Exactly I’ve seen a lot of post of people being fooled into thinking they have “knotless” braids. Just because your braids are SMALL does not mean they are KNOTLESS!
Last tried to get me like that. Knotless does not hurt!
no fr cause you can see the knots on hers
Look because I’m going to do this myself and pay less 😂 when I want to turn my regular knotless into boho
Okaaay! I wanted some French curl box braids and everyone in atl want 250+. No ma’am, I’ll do it myself 😭😭😭

That color look so good on her❤ it looks good on me too!!! Her knotless are cute too.
Those aren't edges, those are strands that needed to go back into the braid😂 the end result is cute
my EDGES look like this and are full like this .. what r u tryna get at
she hasn’t layer them? i don’t think

They are edges
This gone save a lot of people money, lol even me thank you!😂😍
Yesssss
it's an African lady on here that showed ppl this technique I believe 1st.
Is it me or when yall dye yall hair it look like the braid colour yall just look bald its like way too much scalp. But slayed thooo ❤😂❤
That’s just not her color she should’ve dyed her hair something that was more flattering with her complexion
@@lindabrown6838 EXACTLY but she still slayed tho🤣❤️🤣
True, and true
@@lindabrown6838not more flattering *with more contrast so it doesn’t blend in. with her scalp dont do tht backhanded shit here.
The color matches her skin complexion so that’s why it blends so well. But it looks good tho
I do this with mine all of the time. Because the loose hair gets mangled and tangled after time so this way I can pull it out and install fresh hair.
Cute ❤

I thought Knotless didn’t hurt ?
I want some but I don’t wanna see to much scalp.
Boho changed the look for sure ❤
they don’t hurt when you’re getting them done but if they’re tight it’ll hurt to move around
I think that she naturally has thin hair that's all.
I got some, and my scalp looks nothing like that, if my scalp looked like that, I'd say f, the braids & throw on a wig
my favorite type of braids, so pretty!
