the red line limiter is an engine safety system to prevent dummies from poping engines, the turn signal feature is a feature everything has had around that vintage called quick signal introduced by Volvo, the mirror has been around since the mid 90s probably earlier its called an auto dim mirror, the air intake on alot of cars feeds that way, any factory equipped remote start works the same way, many manufacturers have trunk lid (boot lid) handles, these SRT8 models are actually not that equipped with fancy goodies for the price point they were so alot of these hidden things you supposedly have in the charger are not SRT only or charger only they are things commonly available in many other vehicles and most are old things from the 80s and 90s (you can actually thank mercadies benz for that SRT8 and the fancy key fob bet you never knew about the key that pops out of the key fob like every other vehicle with these new fobs yes the SRT models are a nice vehicle in their own rite but they are hardly cutting edge and full of fancy options they are surprisingly well known for not being well equipped for the price tag so the next time you think the vehicle you have has hidden easteregg features sorry do some research and you'll find 99% of these "features" are common place on god knows how many vehicles dodge is often late to the game with many of these features the ford infotainment systems also have the DVD playback (sadly disabled on some models) and GM had DVD play back since some early units in the escalade as one example the vents under the seats are common on everything now since the early 90s, amung many other features and equipment the SRT8 charger is just another car but with performance in mind as well as a modest amount of lugsury so sorry the SRT8 other then the V8, bigger breaks, xenon headlights and a few cosmetic bits and bobs is nothing special

You should be in drive and have the brake pinned so you put all the power into the torque converter and so you can do a launch quicker and to be honest safer. Go to Engineering Explained he can do it better than me.

Revved my SRT8 thinking it would stop at 4K but it kept going thankfully I wasn’t dumb and floored it to red line but it was not limited to 4K
You could change the rev limiter, but if your vehicle is in warranty that can void it.

My 07 charger doesnt stop reving at 4k rpm but its a police package.
Mine doesn't either and it's a 09' R/T with AWD. But for all I know my brother took the rev limiter off when he drove it.
Lol I got a 08 str8.. mine revs just fine past 4 easily. An it got working turn signals both sides.. I've hit 180+ I love it.. 🥵

the 4k is a secondary limiter, for those who use park to launch, that limiter is a 2 step of sorts
