I’m early 😅 if you’re gonna keep injuries on, bring down the rate and severity. Too many injuries and a lot of season ending ones.

When I watch a rebuild, the injuries tick me off. I know they happen in real life, but the videos are more enjoyable without them.
another tip, to make the rebuilds more controllable, you can use gameplans against specific teams to use players like OG. You could make OG's assignment James Harden, or putting Giannis on Embiid
your have to lower the injury frequency and severity before each save starts it’s usually at 50 so you gotta lower it or else you’re gonna get a lot of injury’s
One thing I noticed was that Giannis was shooting a lot of three pointers. Maybe lower his three point shot tendency
turn the injuries percentage to like 35-40 it’s abit more realistic not so much like the default settings but consistently enough to sim through fairly quick
Also I liked the rj pickup, flipping a scorer into a 2 way big wing 👍👍

I was very confused, it seemed like you forgot Jrue was your PG lol. Indeed you did. You could’ve run LaVine at the 1 though. LaVine/Mathurin/ (I think he’s more of a natural 2 anyway) OG/Giannis 1-4. Then IRL you’d want a BroLo type at 5, and have Monte lead the bench unit.
It’s weird 2K doesn’t really put respect on BroLo. Obviously he regresses bc of age which is standard for 2K…but he’s REALLY good right now. Through 30g he’s shooting exactly 40% 3P on 5.3att which is nasty. Also leading the league in blocks per game at 2.7 in only 30.5MPG.
He’s having his best year since his BKN days, and you could argue he’s more valuable now than ever with the level of defense he plays (he’s 100% an All-Defense candidate) and ability to play his role perfectly next to Giannis as a shot blocking, rim protecting stretch 5.
Especially crazy bc he turns 35 on April 1st. I guess when he got hurt last year and was able to start hooping after normal rehab stuff, he really worked on his 3P shot more than ever and it shows. I don’t know if he can sustain shooting 40% on 5+att, but if he can maintain 37%+ on 5+att (career high 36.5% on 6.3att) that’d be amazing and will add even more longevity to his career.
He’ll have like $173M in career earnings after this season. MIL enters the repeater tax next season. I’m sure he could go get a full 3yr MLE (like 3/35.8) from a bunch of teams, but maybe MIL will give him a 4yr deal and he’ll give them a discount on the $/yr. He’s honestly worth easily like 1yr/$16M or like 2yrs/$30M, but I don’t know of any cap space teams that he’d want to go to. None that I know of are championship contenders. So realistically the MLE is the most he would get from a contender. So maybe MIL gives him like 4yrs/$44M or something instead of 3/35.8.

Lower the injury severity for realism, not the frequency. Players miss games very often irl but that amount of season ending injuries is very unrealistic

Turn injury frequency down the bench does matter however unless a player has injury tendencies it happens way to often in 2k
Good rebuild, one thing about building you have to adjust the coaching settings . Offense and defense tempo .

Bobby Portis and BroLo are both 82ovr, that’s so disrespectful lmao. Bobby shooting 30.9% 3P on 3.5att (obv he’s usually way better this is an outlier, but it’s supposed to be at least partially based on this season) and obviously BroLo is 10000x better on defense, better FT shooter, getting to the line more. Higher 2P% (barely), and higher PPG (barely).
Also 62.2% TS vs 56.4% TS. Bobby of course takes more middies and his 3 isn’t falling, they have different roles. But BroLo is just SIGNIFICANTLY better right now. Bump bro up to an 83 at least (and Vucevic down from an 83 ffs) and Bobby prolly around an 80 until he gets that 3 to fall.
Bobby really can’t have a down 3P shooting year and still be nearly as effective. They rely on him to be a floor spacer and that’s a big part of his job. I’m sure it’s a slump, he’s rly never been worse than 36% since he started rly taking them, but ya. Hopefully he goes on a hot streak and gets that up to 36-37% and it stays up there on 3-4att or whatever.

I gave Giannis the 2K super team he deserves by using trade finder which isn't the best but worked like a charm for me. Traded everybody besides Middleton and Carter. Won it all in the first year. Brought Lonzo, Caruso, KCP, DiVincenzo, Covington, Jarrett Allen and Robinson. Also managed to get a 23 First round pick from the Kings

You should lower the injuries to around 45 but increase the sim difficulty to like 55 and up the trade difficulty you getting to good at this lmao

He regresses super fast in this game. Just how it is. For almost everyone once you hit like 32-33 you start regressing hard. I don’t see Jrue regressing fast IRL. He might regress on defense and not be elite anymore, but I think that’ll be slow. Beside that he doesn’t rely on his athleticism really. He’s gotten better from 3 the last few years which is super important for his longevity. And hopefully he can up his floater game back to where it was last cpl years, at least in the 44% area.

First off, how is this a rebuild? You're starting off with one of the best teams in the NBA... LOL
As far as how you handled season 1... Trading for Strus when you have Allen and Connaughton is extremely redundant. Bucks will likely trade those 2nd rounders for larger wing defender that can guard multiple positions. Playing Brooke 19 minutes a game when you were facing Embiid was just a silly mistake.
The Holiday for Lavine trade was completely ridiculous. Trading away a proven playoff performer for a guy who hasn't won anything in his career is completely disrespectful to Holiday. The Bucks hang their hat on defense, and you traded away the best perimeter defender in the league...
The Portis for Anunoby trade was fine. Didn't mind that. Bucks would never do it though. Bobby is the fan favorite and they would riot in the streets if he got traded.
