Im pretty much ready for the dlc. I beat the entire post game, unlocked 6 star raids, did all the academy classes, completed the pokedex, and beat all the gym leaders again. So i dont really have anything else left to do story wise until teal mask comes out

Same, I have both copies and use one for nuzlockes and one as my main save account. It makes the game more fun playing with different teams for the story but man, the intro is always sooooooo long lol

That’s exactly what I was doing.
A better spot to lucky egg level up is the secret cave in area zero. Not the cave you find roaring moon / iron vailiant. The chansys here are +10 levels higher then the spot near the lighthouse. To find the cave start at level 1 of area zero and head straight along the right side of the wall u til you see a waterfall, drop down there and you should see the secret cave it’s technically in area 3 I think aand you can probably climb up to it from there but dropping down the waterfall is guaranteed

Welcome! Also the best sandwich recipe for encountering normal types like chansey is #34 doesn’t require any herba mystica and you get a levek 2 encounter rate.

Another suggestion of something to do while waiting for the DLC to drop that was not mentioned in the video:
Obtain both forms of Maushold (3-member & 4-member families)
and Dudunsparce (2-segement & 3-segments forms)
I’m not sure if anyone’s said this but if you use the zoroark gift that you get for preordering with the move happy hour and holding an amulet coin. The amount of money stacks if you start off with him in the ace tournament.

2) I can transfer my favorite Pokémon Ninetales ! I have a shiny Kanto, shiny Alolan and a shiny Alpha !
3) Shiny Dipplin! I have a shiny Sport ball Aplin ready to go. (FYI You can get the Sport ball in Gen 8 from the Cram O Matic machine. Get Applin/Apltun/Flapple in a Sport ball etc)
4) Gonna shiny hunt Polchagiest for Halloween 🎃 🎃 .

Aside of refighting Team Star, this is pretty much the case for me after 910 hours of the game. Heck, I even went ahead and got every single clothing item (even if I don't need them), and maxed out every ingredient that isn't Mystica, and a lot of the items for maxing stats. I'm really excited for the DLC.
I have honestly found collecting herba a chore i never have the right team to reduce collecting time to a minimum. im surprised there isnt a updated raid list that are tested fast clearers so you can fill out your inventory. I can normmaly scrape enough to build whever the nex 7 star raid mon is

Yeah me too. Gonna try mono dark Team, and one member isnt dark type for the favorite mon spot, which can tera into dark mons. Lol

Solid guide. I’m not anticipating scalable levelling (although it would be nice) in the dlc. As a bolt on to your suggestion about training your team, raise a new team to about level 60-65 of Pokémon you don’t typically play with and EV train them ready for the new areas within the dlc.
What if the pokemon start at a lower level to endorse training new teams from the dlc? I have a team ready at level 30, and I'm worried they'll dominate already. I'm not saying having higher is a bad idea, I just wish they gave any indication of what the level around teal mask will be..

I used your applin method and managed to find 2 shiny applins. One for dipplin and one for flapple since i already have appletun 💜 thanks a bunch
Unfortunate that you can only rematch the gym leaders once and that's to unlock the tournament. Also unfortunate you can only rematch one Elite Four member and the champion in the tournament. Maybe DLC will allow you to rematch everyone else.
Yeah, the pre-Switch games all let you rematch the Pokémon League as much as you want. Not sure why the devs took that out for Gen8 and Gen9
Stock up on your herba mystica for DLC shiny hunts. Get some of the DLC Pokémon ready in HOME to do DLC Pokédex faster

Waiting for Alolan Vulpix to complete my main team since I LOVE Aurora Veil being the fastest dual screen setup in the game, though you've prolly cleared the Ace Academy if you've been watching 7 star raids ever since Zard dropped, now I'm just collecting former alphas for flex reasons to be sent over to Home + Shaymin.
Gonna farming those EV vitamin in raids. They are so expensive.😅
Probably also a good idea to purchase the DLC now to get a serial code for a tera Dark Hisuian Zoroark if one hasn't done so already. Also some bonus clothing options IIRC.

This coment probably doesnt have anything to do with the video but yesterday I got a precious shiny Dialga from another player and to my surprise it wasnt hacked (Since it didnt have perfect ivs , no hidden ability and didnt came out with a rare item like an ability patch) I traded a Regidrago for it but it was totally worth it ,I guess he REALLY wanted a regidrago . Anyways , with all those hacked shinies out there is nice to have someone who is honest ❤

It seems Regidrago is really desired right now. Since it’s exclusive to the Crown Tundra DLC in Sw/Sh and not everyone acquired the DLC. It’s been one of the most popular Pokemon on Pokemon Home lately. I completed my pokedex on Violet a few weeks back and was looking for a Walking Wake, so I deposited my Regidrago on the GTS and it traded really fast.

Yo only know that he's legit by the fact he doesn't have 6ivs and no hidden ability ? So using ability patch and silver cup = hacked pokemon ?
@@zwoldix3496the six IV thing is actually accurate because if they say "best" it was likely hacked since most sane people would never do that trade and if it's trained it will say "hyper trained" maybe there are legit 6 IV shiny but that's rare

Currently farming sword and shield dlc legendaries. Goin for multiple sets of galarian birds and their kantonian forms. Catching every transferable legendary at least 3 times over
I got the shiny charm in Scarlet still need it in Violet... i was ev training mons for tera raids and evolving mons for pokedex at the same instead of going around capturing them..
12:52 Already got Shiny Applin from Masuda Method in Violet on the 95th egg. Meaning, I am ready to evolve into Dipplin after DLC drops! 😋
I literally jumped off a cliff into a ? Outbreak and landed right in front of a shiny Applin.
(This was during a shiny badge quest, never ended up deciding what to evolve it into and I'm glad I didn't...)

I forgot about hunting a shiny applin, gonna do that until the dlc comes out and also get some apricorn balls, sadly they are expensive I hope we get some other method to get them in the DLC.
You can find Chansey way easier and at a higher level in the hidden part of Area Zero, where the ground symbols are, you don't even need a sandwich, Chansey spawn rate is really high, and to make things better there's a bed nearby.
which is the research station closer to those ground symbols? i've been farming them on the cave closer to the research station 3

I done most of these. Not wasting money on customization and sandwiches ingrediants since I never really cared for either. I am doing Blissey raids to try and make out every tera shard I have. I shift over to Shield to do dynamax raids

So between Jan and now I've been shiny hunting and level 100ing every shiny I can get in its final form. Plus EV and bottle capping them. Im sitting at close to 200 mons so far 🤣 with a lot more to go.
Honestly i hope in the dlc that before beating the story in the story we can only use Pokémon caught between paldea (no previously caught pokemon) Just to make it harder for the community

got a fresh team of all shinies, Applin, Meowscarada, Palossand, Alolan Raichu, Tinkaton, Haxorus, Falinks, Alolan Persian, Alolan Meowth, and im aware that is 9 pokemon, im just not sure which I want to use. Im currently leaning towards Dipplin, Meowscarada, Palossand, Haxorus (its my favorite pokemon, its there no matter what), Falinks and then finally alolan raichu
Edit: ive got the 3 alolan mons because I just caught them all in gen 7 because I felt like doing some sos hunting for alolan forms that arent catchable currently but are transferable. i'd HIGHLY recommend getting a shiny raichuA if you can, it looks SO good in s/v

Hisuian zoroark from dlc with happy hour doubles money from battle... Amulet coin. Doubles money again. From 13k > 26k > 52k per battle in ace academy tournament.
I've been working on putting together a living paldea dex to pass time til the Teal mask drops.
And it's done. Minus couple color variations of a few pokemon. I did get all the Lycanrock (including a shiny midnight form) and all the Tasugiri. Gonna transfer the living dex to home, start a new violet save, collect the apricorn balls, trade pokemon holding the apricorn and master balls back to scarlet, rinse and repeat til Wednesday when I get home from work.
I've been breeding for the Legends Arceus starters shiny forms to transfer.

For my part since i have all previous version i rush a game in Sword to collect all the legendaries again since they almost all there in the Max Lair. I collect a lot regional form like Hisuian Pokemon, Galarian and Alola.
And... i have all my reset games on Alpha sapphire, Sun and Brilliant diamond to finish. Little too much things to do i guess...

It might work the same way as the Isle of Armour, where everything is scaled to a lower level before post-game and after post-game it's bumped up to the 60's...

How is this the first I've heard of re-battling team star? Are there any rewards for beating them?
You can actually rebattle the Star bosses once per day (every single of them), but there's no reward. Its basically just a way to test out Moves/get levels on your Pokémon without using Candies, if you want
A good way to battle with some of your shinies if you don't wanna do raids with a weaker mon
There's only one thing I haven't done and that's catch the titans

I'm pretty sure you don't have to beat 10 5 stars tera raid to unlock the 6 stars, but rather 10 raids of any stars
I still gotta complete the pokedex. Working on getting the evolutions I don't have ....dreading ones like bramblin and rellor so I'm saving those for last(yay....walking!)

The one pokemon that's gonna be hard for me to get is palafin. I don't know anyone irl who plays the game and only way to get palafin is trading a finnizen with a friend.
I managed to get most of the scarlet exclusives through surprise trades.
( scisor which is a trade evo, I've gotten from legends arceus, put it in pokemon home then into pokemon violet, same with the skunks and drifloon/drifblim. )
Scissor can be found in special Tera roads, and Paladin can be found in Tera roads too. Bramblin and teller are actually really easy, the walking isn’t as much as you think

Idk if this is common knowledge to everyone or not but if you hold B while climbing ladders you will climb faster
Just do the pokedex for the charm, thats it you dont need more
Would be so much cooler and challenging if you were forced to collect a new level 5 starter and go through the new region like that until you got to a certain part where your prior Pokémon were unlocked to continue using in that region, such wasted content now that everyone has 10s-100s of level 100s fighting level 50s and sweeping the content with no effort 😅

Meanwhile, im here, broke from both points and zennies, items, main party at levels 70s, endgame, strugglin with tera raids, lost so many event raids... got a few shiny pokemons but since i dont have candies and broke, they only around level 40s, 50s if they came at those levels... dear gaw... im a joke... ;_;

23: Prepare a False Swipe/Spore Breloom lvl 100 for catching pokemon easily
24: Prepare your Frisk/Thief Espathra lvl 100 for farming wild pokemon drops
