I love how logan's podcast ISN'T gossip, but coffeezilla spending hours going into blockchains, interviewing people who have experience with shady individuals to determine their legitimacy and talking to victims of cryptozoo IS gossip.
Like, it's possible Coffee is wrong, but he showed his work, provided citations and has repeatedly earned his bona fides. Everyone makes mistakes, but this isn't Logan's first scam.

@@SIGNETtheotaku One speculation could be that one of the parties that actually sold- sold a BIG amount that will put heat and spotlights on him specifically leaving an open window for a "discrete & safe" transfer of a chunk of that money to Logan. If Logan sold it's immediately incriminating so I wouldn't doubt that he's got something planned to discretely have funds transferred to him to save himself some public face. Im not assuming that he officially does- but if you think about scamming through crypto then YOU selling out is immediate death for whatever you're trying to gain. But if you put that heat to someone else who can take it with lesser negative repercussion, and have the money discretely transferred to you, then you are quite discrete and spread it around a bit to try and get it clean.
He's not heist guy though- so I doubt he thought of it. At the same time though, the smartest defense is the dumbest presentation of one's self- making it seem like you dont know how to do much of that niche shit so that people dont immediately expect "Oh shit he's trying to make moves".
Look at the comparison. Why would one cash out only a mil when he has history of being able to do more, and one cashes out at 6mil after having "apparent beef" with Logan- if anything that could just make it seem like they arent friendly and arent going to interact to make the money transfer EVEN LESS expected and SLIGHTLY less immediately traceable.
Im not saying official accusations here, but ya gotta play chess in this type of shit. You gotta do 2 to their every 1, even if its only speculation. Speculations, whether accurate or inaccurate, bring up a natural narrative that gets an explanation regardless. That reaction tells a lot- psychology is very important in this type of thing because at the end of the day you gotta figure out who is lying. He doesn't get to avoid accountability for working with scammers just because he didn't properly vet them. And you know who needs to be shouldering the blame? LOGAN. It is HIS project, HIS brainchild, that HE was hiring people to design and run. It doesn't matter that he learned later that he hired scammers; the responsibility still falls on Logan for what happened.
Here's the issue I have, he's willing to do background checks on these guys after coffeezilla's videos but, not before putting millions into cryptozoo? I'm not buying that for one second, I believe he planned on scamming his fans and purposely hired these criminals and scammers as fall guys if this story ever got big.

Sadly, these careers are rarely ended. They disappear to "get clarity" and come back in six months and everyone forgives them. This happens time and time again and I wonder when these "influencers" will actually be held accountable for their actions and lose their livelihood permanently.

Here's the thing that Logan doesn't seem to be getting through his thick skull: If you are the owner/leader of a project (such as crypto zoo), then the blame falls on YOU when the project fails and investors lose money. You can check with your teams and employees to see what went wrong and replace said employees or whatever, but it is still ultimately your responsibility. If thousands and thousands of Tesla cars started randomly exploding while on the highway, Elon Musk is the guy that everyone looks to for an apology and to make things right, nobody expects the engineers to get behind a podium and make an apology or tweet an explanation. Leaders/business owners get credit when things go well, and blame when things go wrong. It's how the world works.

In general, we're naive, trusting people, who chose to give others the benefit of the doubt. This makes us easy targets for financial and emotional exploitation by predatory people.
Unfortunately, most of us have to learn this the hard way.
It's not illegal to post a phone call when you literally tell them "Hey, I'm reaching out to you for comment for this investigation" and they don't say they don't want to be recorded. He literally said no comment and threatened legal action about the allegations after saying no comment. So where's the issue for a lawsuit.

I'm a fan of logans podcast and what he was doing in boxing, but how he thought that video helped him in any way is crazy. He admitted to everything when he said he was responsible for hiring the main guy responsible for hiring the team. Logan hired a criminal to hire people for a crypto project.
@@stang10189 Thats what makes me wonder if he has some type of angle. He's been a public figure long enough to know what a tacit admission is. There's an almost zero percent chance that nobody approached him and said "you just admitted to all of this in that video". Unless Coffee pissed him off so badly that he just wanted to release *something* and doesn't actually realize what he just did, but somehow I doubt that.
It's gonna be very interesting to see where this goes next.

To two of your question's:
When Coffeezilla was saying "You can't hatch?!" He was talking about people who bought their eggs in an alternate, but still official way being unable to hatch them.
With the illegal recording this is a confusing point that some people in the USA don't get. In the US there is something called the "Interstate Commerce Clause", which says that if you are doing an activity that crosses state lines you have to follow Federal rules that are separate from state rules. Since Coffeezilla is in Texas and Jeff is in California we would use the federal law on wiretapping, which is a single party consent standard.

To say more on the recording (Kaazanon, great presentation'!) assuming the federal and Texas single party consent standard, Coffeezilla IS the one party consenting. So, no laws broken. On the H3 podcast, Ethan points out that the legality goes to recording. Coffeezilla had nothing to do with recording, he was given the conversation with Jeff (Ethan did not say where Coffe got the recording). If this is true, Coffee has no worries regarding the recording.
When the whole Creepshow Art and Emily Artful situation was going on, I remember Emily saying that her lawyer told her that "proving defamation is very hard, especially if you are a public figure."
There is no defamation here as far as I can tell since LP's public image/reputation was bad already, and there isn't a way to prove that Coffeezilla caused his project to fail.
Well as a citizen of Japan, I sure do enjoy seeing all of this sh*t happening to him.

A note of deceptive editing: coffeezilla was talking to someone explaining that people who bought eggs with ETH can't hatch. Basically you can buy the eggs with the zoo coin, and ETH, and those who paid in ETH were not able to hatch. Showing hatching eggs does not disprove this point. Just because some eggs can hatch does not prove that all could.
14:20 - "Hatching and breeding on BSC (whatever that is) *PREVIOUSLY FUNCTIONAL BUT CURRENTLY DISABLED* on Eth (Ethereum?)"
Coffeezilla even put this at the bottom of his video. There was apparently an unspecified period of time when you _could_ hatch the eggs BUT their software was so glitchy that they disabled that function shortly thereafter. 🙄
As far as I know, it remains disabled to this day. And yes, NFTs are just pictures. But Logan never marketed CryptoZoo as an NFT. He promoted it as a _GAME_ not just a single, dead-end picture, that he's apparently he's trying claim now that his 'game' is an EPIC failure.

Texas is a one-party consent state, California is a two-party content state, and TX and CA are anti-slapp states. Coffeezilla can take this lawsuit to a Texas judge and have it thrown out before it goes to discovery. And Coffeezilla does that beautiful thing at the end of every video he makes: he lets the viewer come to their own conclusions based on what he has presented. That is not defamation.

hello someone from texas here! Texas is a one-party consent state! This means you can record audio of someone and not let them know. Most of the time it is used to catch abuse or scams.
My guess, is he is not going to sue Coffee. When asked about it, he will either block you, or say it's a legal matter but Coffee is going down hard, so stay tuned. After enough time of silence, he will assume people have forgotten, block those that had not; then continue to scam his fans out of money.
I agree Paul is not going to sue Coffee. For two reasons:
a) The discovery process. Yes Paul gets to ask Coffee for documents, but Coffee also gets to do the same. Considering what Coffee already knows I imagine such a request would not go well for Paul, additionally, Judges will sanction you for withholding information.. which goes back to the information Coffee already has.
b) Defamation requires provable knowledgeable intent which means Paul has to show that Coffee knew he was lying when he released the videos. This is going to be very difficult, as Coffee reported what other people said, and one cannot sue for defamation if it is true.
I grew to like Logan, so I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. Couldn't have responded any worse. First off, he missed the whole point that he conspired to rip off his audience..scam artists he hired just beat him to it lol. He never made mention of the people who lost $ and didn't even attempt to apologize. Also, instead of countering the info Coffeezilla laid out he just attacked him personally. By avoiding facts, he is essentially admitting they're true. The whole tone of going on the attack was a huge misfire. People wanted to hear him acknowledge the investors who lost $ and explain how it got to this point. Just show some empathy and try to make things right. All he did was point the finger. Why did we not hear a peep for a yr until his back was against the wall? Logan f'd up. I'll give props. He's done a nice job getting a young male demo through Impaulsive, but he just cut at the core of that. He can't manipulate kids this time and weasel his way around it. He got caught red-handed
Pretty sure people are getting confused with the "You can't hatch?!" moment and Logan is playing on that. If I remember that moment correctly, the whole point is that Coffeezilla found out that you catch hatch eggs if you bought with **ETH**, not that you couldn't hatch at all.
Like I said, if I'm remembering correctly, Logan is twisting the statement with some clever editing to pretend like that is a "Gotcha!" moment.
**EDIT:** Just went back and looked, I was remembering correctly. The whole point is that you can't hatch with **ETH**, not that you can't hatch at all. Logan was clever with twisting that. A lot of streamers seem to have fallen for that.

The phone call makes the least sense to me out of all of his points though. Yes, it may be illegal (Illegal in Cali, not in Texas so not sure who would have jurisdiction) but is that even something he could personally sue for? I would think that would be something for the police to handle.

Coffee has been doing this for some time and isn't an idiot. Lastly - "Texas is considered a "one-party consent" state. This means that unless at least one of the parties to a conversation consents, both Texas and federal wiretapping laws make it a crime to record an audio conversation, either in person or over the phone, if the parties have a "reasonable expectation of privacy"." - NOTE the statement "AND FEDERAL WIRETAPPING LAWS" - so as long as Coffee consented to recording himself (which I am sure he did) he is in the clear even on a Federal level. I would love to see Logan try and take him to court on this. He'll get reamed in discovery and it will bury him and his team even further and STILL lose the suit.
If he did half as much research on these people then as he did now, he wouldn't be in this mess.

It is really hard for someone in this situation to be changed with the consent to be recorded. For this to be credible there has to be an expectation of privacy, Coffee is a journalist, interviews with journalists are typically considered public conversations.
I thought Coffee's video said that if you bought eggs with ETH, those couldn't hatch. Not that all of them couldn't hatch.

People seem to keep crediting Logan with the eggs hatching but in Coffee's video it was clear that it was those who bought with Ethereum that couldn't hatch the eggs - not that it didn't work for anyone - so Logan isn't disproving Coffee at all.
Texas actually had one party consent, meaning that only one of the people being recorded has to know they’re being recorded, this is primarily for police to use for interrogations, but it does apply here. :)

If you watch this without seeing Coffeezilla's video it sounds like he's making points but 17:00 - Coffeezilla goes into ALL OF THIS. He overexplains it. 'he was kicked out' (yes, he explains the timeline), 'we didn't sell anything'(yes, he goes over that), 'NFTs are just images'(yes, CZ showed and talked about how Logan promised HANDMADE artwork), CZ said he didn't want to go on his podcast but that they could do an online interview with no edits in it(Logan would of been able to cut/edit it if it were the podcast)... like you can go on and on... The only leg he has to stand on is the interview with the scammer... THAT HE HIRED and honestly it makes him look WORSE.

From what I've seen reported, Coffee lives in Texas which is a "one consent" state. Meaning that he didn't need the manager's permission to record the phone call. Really curious as to what LP thinks he could take Coffee to court over.

It was only the eggs bought with Eth that wouldn't hatch, which Coffezilla says. And in the fine print of Logan's video it says that too, right before he talks about coffeezilla hiding things in the fine print
Atozy went back to the original video and showed the 'hatching' comment was a much longer part that clearly said it couldn't be hatched "on Ethereum". Logan took it out of context to try and imply that Coffeezilla said it couldn't hatch "at all".

The thing is the group of people that couldn't open the eggs bought in a certain way. Logan implied that Coffee said all eggs didn't open. Plus, it is a battle between a 2 party and 1 party recording so that is iffy. The way that he reported on Logan Pual makes a lawsuit almost impossible with anti-slapp in Texas.
