- The Red Fire® pellet is Gamo's latest state-of-the-art hunting pellet. This advanced pellet is designed with a diamond shaped polymer tip that provides a true ballistic trajectory.
The Red Fire® pellet is engineered for balanced expansion ensuring intense penetration. The force of impact drives the red polymer tip back into the cylindrical jacket material forcing it to expand outwards increasing the diameter of the projectile as it passes through the intended target (mushrooming effect on impact). - Sport
Wow a pellet that can burst a balloon....amazing!
How much velocity do you gain by shooting these pellets over a lead pellet? I can't find a spec sheet or anything to find anything out.
These are a lead pellet
The red fire .177 pellets appear to be longer than normal pellets. The magazine for my Crossman 1077 doesn't fit back together after inserting them in the cartridge holes. What's the point? Wasted money! Can not be returned!
32 ft per second slower......than doomed gamo
they look cool but im not impressed with their performance. i tried them out in my beeman kodiac and they did not group very well plus the penetration was not verry good. my crosmans did better. probably why they used a weak water balloon to show.
That is because they are a hollowpoint design and are not meant to penatrate
@@beemanrwsfx what your saying is that the pellet is not built to penetrate but to expand for better terminal velocity and not penetration witch in turn means a bigger wound cavity. This pellet is just like a ballistic tip rifle bullet.
