We built a barbed wire corral for my cows, and the bull simply walked up and put his hoof of the wire, mashed it down, and walked through the horizontal wires with no effort at all.
Boy, we felt really stupid.

Unfortunately, some people don't know the difference between a cow and a "he" / bull.
Cows yes, I was raised on a Minnesota dairy farm and I couldn't wait to get to the barn and start "communicating" with the cows and scratching their heads. Their eyes are incredibly beautiful. But, the "old souls" we see is the magic of nature. There is no "old soul" brain. Cows are sweet and gentle. Bulls, not so much. When this guy becomes full grown, expect problems. That prosthetic leg will not may help him mount cows, but he will break it if necessary to get the job done. Our bulls were in solid pens. Life became easier when the veterinarian started to inseminate the cows.
If only more people within this society would treat ALL animals like this, especially cows and pigs who are, apparently, not worthy of love and only good for cramming into a box for their whole life and then killed for their meat.
ALL animals deserve and are capable of Love.

The original human was just fine on fruits and vegetables. I understand that indigenous people used to kill buffalo and peasants, however they would do it humanly and bless the food before eating it. That’s a far cry from the current human on Earth.
Now “we” mass-produce meat and cut corners at every corner to save a few bucks. And by doing this, treat these beautiful animals like subspecies that are only here on Earth to serve our needs.

I'm disabled and this is the thing that people don't understand about mobility aids, from prosthetics to wheelchairs: we are not bound by them, we are *freed* by them. Look at the freedom his prosthetic gives him! Nobody would say he was prosthetic bound. That would be silly. To disabled people, it sounds just as silly to say we are wheelchair bound. We are wheelchair *freed*!

I wish people would love cows as much as they love dogs. Cows are so gentle, loving, playful, and sweet. They love with all of their hearts, and suffer so much under the cruelty of humans. Stories like this show how much better animals are than humans, but also how humans can rise above and help. This sweet boy needed to not only be loved, but to also see humans can be kind, and he wasn’t going to be harmed ever again. People like this truly give my heart hope.
If I could afford a farm I'd have cows as pets, sadly condo living in the city doesn't really work to have a cow to love

This brings tears to my eyes. For so long humanity saw certain animals as food but that's not why God made them. They are for our comfort, companionship and love. This is why I don't eat meat!!!!

What if she needs to go away for a week or more the Nir will need someone to care for him. That prosthetic leg will need some up close and personal care daily.

I was adopted by a stray cat about two years ago. I'm the only person in the world he trusts. But I worry what would happen to him if something happened to me.

You can see the deep love in his eyes, that’s a true love story. God bless them and the sanctuary. The prosthetic really helped him feel whole and enjoy life. And this is why I haven’t eaten meat since I was 15, I love cows, they’re beautiful gentle souls.

I have tears in my eyes!!! U literally see that Nir is comfortable and grateful for her new friends and family…Her rescue mama is so selfless and inspiring.
As a child I would holiday every summer with my relatives in Ireland. They were dairy farmers. I would sit on the field gate and sing (badly!) and slowly the cows would walk up the field then stand in a semi-circle around me just staring at me and listening very calmly. This is when I realised cattle love musical sounds!

This just melts my heart what a beautiful human being you are for saving that beautiful cow are used to know this cow and her name was called Primrose she was absolutely beautiful she was a jersey cow I used to love walking in the field with all these cows and sometimes They had calfs one particular time the farmer asked me if I seen any letter to pick it up because some idiot dropped a plastic bag and he had to have one of his cows put to sleep because they had swallowed it so when I used to walk the dogs that is what I used to pick up the crap that other people left behind the trouble was though the farmer couldn’t stop them because it was a public path and the lovely thing was the farmer used to name or his cows but I’m talking about 40 years ago I still remember her to this day she was beautiful and I loved her
