I decided to go on one of the busiest days to go to the LA County fair on memorial day weekend. I’ve never seen that many people at the fair before. Normally I would go during the week. There is a big difference on the weekend. Specially, on a holiday I had an awesome time. - Zábava
$25 for parking, $30 to get in, $20 for a sausage dog, $7 for a coke. OMG, it's not that I can't afford it, it's just ridiculous. At some point ya just got to say NO, too much $. Anyway, was better watching through the eyes of the GIV, and not have to deal with all the people. Thanks Mike, for taking me to the fair, You're the best!!!

$82.00 plus gasoline and daily car insurance, probably another $5.00 for the day. $100.00 day. This dose not include ride tickets costs or a few games. Crazy
10 years ago..$35.00 for the day. Plus another 25.00 for ride tickets or games.
Some of those rides look a little sketchy. And yes I have stopped buying anything.. and now at the end of the week I have a wallet full of money and put it in the bank.
Can you imagine if you had a couple kids? I guess they just don't buy the food.

I went once with friends to this L.A. County Fair 30 years ago. I was impressed with the home 'crafts' pavilion. Lots of creative ladies.
My favorite venue as well it gets smaller every year. It's now under the grandstand. At least it was a few years back.

Hey Mike! Great video. Thanks for taking us along. It was nice to see you actually eating AND enjoying food. You probably walked it off. Food is a big part of our lives. Enjoy what you want, sensibly and on occasion. You're getting older. Enjoy all of life, sensibly, while you can. Try to drop weight a little at a time. But don't live life wishing you could have this or that. That's not living. That's wishing. Eat something like the sausage as a reward. Great video.
I used to look forward to going to the LA County Fair back in the 90's. As I watch this from my home in Lawndale, 4 miles away from the Pacific shoreline, I'm profoundly glad that I'm not there right now. The traffic I'm avoiding, the money I'm not spending, and the peace, quiet, and comfort of not being there sweating, paying overbloated prices for whatever, and waiting in lines for this, that and the other thing. Hell yes I'm so glad not to be there.
