Dying in LA is just about those who want to be successful and go to LA to become a great singer or artist, but end up dying before they ever become successful. It's kind of like a counter to "Hey Look Mom I Made It" and "High Hopes". I think the purpose of it is him telling us to constantly work hard until you make your dreams a reality, before you get old and die and it's wasted.

Okay so a few months ago I got a twitter and checked in on the clique, and they were going insane since top started putting all of this cryptic stuff involving "DEMA" on their official website and some other sites that they made. And someone pointed out that if you search "Friday" on their store website, a result comes up that says "whichoneofyouadminfuckerstoldthemimdroppingthealbumfridayjuly13?" (or something close to that). To be fair, I tried it to and that legit came up and I was like "omfg." So July 13 is just what a handful of the clique believes to be either the album release data or when we hear from them again. (look up DEMA and twenty one pilots there are videos that explain it all way better than me). I personally think that July will be their month (idrc if it's specifically the 13th or some other time) especially since A) Panic! dropped their album so they wouldn't be competing for attention with top, and B) the president of Fueled by Ramen announced that top are making music and Tyler knows "exactly" what he wants to do.
Jesus christ didn't realize I would type up a whole essay sorry about that, but hope that helps.

Dancing's Not a Crime is a little more Jackson 5/early MJ than Benny and the Jets, and he references MJ in the first line. Also brilliant idea doing it in your car because we can actually hear the album too, A+ idea haha
