#fishing #totallyawesomefishing - Zábava
Love the canal fishing. I'm 77 now and my boyhood memories are of the Shire horses towing (hence towpath) the barges. My dad used horse manure for ground bait. It contained all sorts of nutrients and we had some fantastic roach fishing in those days. I still have a photo of when he caught one of 2lb 2oz. Good ol days!
That sounds like a good video title. Catching fish with horse muck. 😉
Don't give me any ideas like that !
1 hour of gold 👍🏻
A clean workshop is an unused workshop. Looks great to me. If I could retire in a pad that's a tenth of what you have achieved, I'd be a happy man. Thank you for the great content.
Workshop now attended to. I was crafting (!!!) my first Axe handle out of a chunk of cherrywood for Mike's T.A. Outdoors Show using his new draw knife. Looks like I got carried away judging by all the wood shavings. Of course having now cleaned and tidied I won't be able to find anything .
Thank you for taking time out to make these films. love watching you doing a bit of graft before you go fishing. Great view of your property from the roof, lovley place.
When ever i watch one of your films i always learn something so thanks again. Stay safe Greame, keep smith away from the ladders, we need you 👍
Glad you enjoyed it. If only one person doesn't lose a drain rod down a drain by unscrewing it while working I consider it a film well made. I try to mix the films up a bit sometimes ,obviously not going to get monster views like Freddy the fat Carp at 157lbs or whatever, but it keeps me off the streets and I don't care if I get 10 viewers as long as they all enjoy it. I lock Smith in the potting shed while I go onto the roof ,just to be sure.
TA Fishing one year later and still kept to his word👍
Its always a good day when greame uploads. Lovely house :)
🎣
Your a legend Graeme. I love watching your show and it has taught me so much
i guess Im randomly asking but does anyone know of a way to get back into an Instagram account..?
I somehow forgot the password. I would love any tricks you can give me
@Remy Elliot instablaster :)
@Jaden Conrad Thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm.
Takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Jaden Conrad It worked and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thank you so much, you saved my account!
@Remy Elliot Happy to help :)
It's a Friday night and I'm just settling down to ta fishing.....WHAT, IT'S A ONE HOUR LONG VID?!?!
I skipped the first bit with the roof ... lol sorry Im just here for the fish hahaha
No worries, watching the fishing part is fine...more to come next week.
I enjoy it all, especially your personality & humor, but I do prefer your fishing bits more so than chimney sweeping haha looking forward to more videos !@@TAFishing
i could watch and listening to you all day Graeme
Another great video Graeme. Always makes me chuckle with some of your comments. Thanks for taking the time to produce these. I've been avidly watching all your beach/sea fishing videos over the last few weeks as I've taken up beach fishing, alongside my freshwater fishing. I've learn't so much about sea fishing from watching your films and have enjoyed watching them. Keep up the good work ;-)
I can imagine sitting here in 20 years having a beer still watching you go up and sweep your chimney 😂
I'm almost certain that Alan Scotthorne watches your videos Graeme and wins world championships using the old horse feed. Keep up the awesome content.
TA Fishing - God bless & Happy Fishing. #1 Fishrrman & Crazy Chimney Sweep😂😂
Another great video Graeme. I've learned so much from you over the years. Anglers and Danglers. You're definitely an angler. Keep them coming.
Just eaten a huge madras, now settled down with a glass of red and Mr P on the screen 😀
Weetabix in the bait box 😂😂 love it!
I love watching you Graeme it inspires me to do jobs like this all the time and to use my spare time as beat as i can I love seeing what else you do instead of fishing to
Great video mate and i loved the Canal bit, can't beat the English Country Side .👍
Thank you Graeme for another fine film.
Great down to earth fishing entertainment, love you guy's, keep them coming please!
Great to see you back on the canals and lakes Graeme. Awesome vid!
great video as per usual, thanks Graeme.
Hi, nice one Graeme. Years ago I used drain rods to make a long handled net for on the pier! They worked ok but a bit bendy! Thank goodness I now have a 6 mtr carbon handle, it makes rock and pier fishing much easier. I have watched some of your rock fishing video’s and thought it would have made getting those big wrasse out. Regards Bill
Love these sorts of videos where you can just binge watching. Cheers Graeme for all the great tips and great content!
brilliant video cant beat a bit of everything great friday night viewing
What a great episode! Love watching another angler use the canals as I do, I hope there is more of it to come!
I am new to your channel and I love it !!! I Can't get enough of your content and fishing tips , I think your fishing channel is the best on CZcams and I also think it's good enough to have your own fishing show on TV, The next John Wilson !!! Keep up the awesome content and happy fishing!!👌💙🎣🎣
Fascinating Graham absolutely love these types of videos
More amazing videos from the fishing master well done, those nice carp saved the day.😄
What a lovely spread of Carp Graeme. Keep up the good work, and as always this video was Totally Awesome! Cheers from Denmark
I knew you had some cash Graeme, but I wasn’t sure expecting half of Hertfordshire. Love the videos. Only problem I spend more time watching them than doing my jobs!
Your videos always teach me something new. I don't live near the coast so 2 hours drive to fish the nearest beach, the next best thing is to watch you doing it. Even when you blank its still interesting.
Appreciate the time gone in to this video , really enjoyed it 👍
I could not recommend a Canal Boat Holiday enough for any fisherman with a family. It is life at 2 miles per hour and so stress free plus one can stop anywhere at anytime night or day and just fish over the side with rods left ready assembled on the top of the boat and a ready made galley for hot food and drinks just an arms length away. We have always had wonderful holidays on them.
Such an unusual lay out at your property. It looks American, the land is huge but the house is a standard size. You have the grounds of a manor house which is rare in England as you know. Beautiful place.
Your videos are brilliant! Very informal and enjoyable to watch. Learnt a few things from you over the last few days of watching. Keep it going! Brilliant!
Really enjoyed
Love the garden graeme
Great video. hope you all have a great day and some good future fishing!!
Brilliant video as usual keep up the great work
Sooo love your show. Don't know anything about fishing, but you make it endlessly entertaining. Always look forward to the little dot coming up by your channel. Best wishes from South Wales.
😀 Another TOTALLY AWESOME video Graeme 👍
Love the vids so glad you are posting 👍🏻👍🏻
Really enjoyed this one Graeme!..Totally Awesome..as always!
Legend, really enjoy watching your shows
Brilliant video Graeme
Job WELL done!
Another great fishing video.
My favorite fisherman (Man, really).
Amazing house, great video. Nice carp 👍🏻👌🏻
Good Morning!
What an incredible place Congratulations, beautiful Fishing!
God be with you!
Hugs from Brazil👍🎣🐟😊
52:32 the most confused roach you will ever see :)
the fishing location is amazingly steady
Another awesome vid mate loved it
Love the long 'uns 😃
So thankful I can use 20-30 lb braid here in the states for carp. The snags and trash in the water would shred that lighter line.
great content! loving the 1 hour vids!!!!
Love the carp close in 🎣🎣🎣
More action like that to come on future films. All in the files.
Top video Graeme. I have just done one of my chimney flues, but only caught 4 fish, but you are the king, what a guy.. but no daddy rough
I don't do much course fishing now, but we used to catch daddy rough a lot bottom fishing 40 years ago or more. Thanks :)
They do seem extremely rare nowadays...while its cousin the Perch is holding up. Anyone out there got any theories..Are the bigger Perch eating the smaller Ruffe ?
Whew you had a lot of soot, you might want to brush 2 or 3 times a year, or burn hotter dryer wood. Also you might want to get your concrete cap patched or replaced, those cracks will end up eating your brick chimney sooner than later. Good video
Nice mixed bag!
“I do like a bit of slop”😂 great idea with the old cereal. I might have to give that a try. Great vid keep up the good work👌🏼
"Slop" or "Stodging" is a Hampshire/Dorset term for a groundbait mix of bread and whatever else you fancy, usually quite wet so it breaks up on impact .Used on the River Stour for Chub . Try it on a commercial stillwater fishing close in if bread is allowed. The Carp especially go nuts for it. I doubt you'll need the fishing rod, they will be flapping up the bank to get to the bucket.
I was impressed with that weather vane ,I am a sheet metal worker welder by trade so il be making one of those ,some nice fishing there I enjoyed it, I had 3 carp last week 13lb mirror was the biggest, thanks for a great vlog mate
Wife got the weather vane for me as a birthday prezzie...way better than the usual socks and handkerchiefs .
Graeme you would put most younguns to shame! Love your channel Mr P !
I was gonna mention the flashing!!!! 😆 I wonder if that suit may be ''good in the garden'' ... omfg... u said it as I was typing .....ffs!!!! .. 😅 and that house is ..... dohhh .... u beat me too it again... that house is amazing ,... I thought it was an old mill refurbished to be a home ... ..
Great film GP. You have a lovely home. Surprised you don’t use the soot as ground bait !!
you are the best
If that's the Kennet and Avon near Hungerford I've fished there for years when I was a younger man . There has always been a boat moured buy that old mill house, we used to find that big chub would gather near the boat and under the willows next to it.
Same spot I reckon, but I never heard of the big Chub.I think its more Bream and Skimmers now. Maybe there weren't as many boats back then so it was clearer ? Any Hungerford experts know if the Chub are still there ?
It would be good to see you fish the old mill at Aldermaston I believe it once held the UK record chub.
Love all of your videos.just a little tip for walking up your roof always keep on the bottom of the tiles so you don’t go through them so easily. Keep the great videos coming from you and mike always look forward to them
Thanks for the tip, will save me a fortune with my roofer.
Jeeze Graeme now your dropping a line down your chimney😂bet you hook something fishy🤣😃😄😅😆😉😊
Thanks Graeme nice video. Did my chimney in the Autumn always good to know it's been done. Been working on the boat for the last week. Had the chap come do a full service on the little 30hp Mercury EFI all done including the timing belt. Put two coats anti foul which is a horrible job on a trailer thats sitting on gravel, made ten times worse by Arthur, you know him, old Arthur Ritis, always turns up when you least want him. Still it's done now for a couple of years. I fixed up a trailer over winter I got cheap but made the mistake of buying car tyres which are no where near enough for road use good thing it just needed to come up the slip and 50 yards to the work space. Cheers Graeme.
Sounds like you have been busy.I think I am getting a visit from Arthur as well ,he seems a bit touchy first thing in the morning. I think you might need to check ply ratings on your trailer,is it 8 ply for road work ? How come the car tyres are not good enough ? Is that a weight thing ? I know for towing I changed up the ply rating ,but for short distances I would have thought car tyres OK. Maybe a "boaty" person out there can clarify ply ratings for us.
@@TAFishing well these ones are max 40 psi ( 4 of them ) and my mate who is super knowledgeable with all things boat says they need to take 80. It certainly looks right seeing how compressed these ones are. I need to check but they make trailer rated tyres. I certainly wouldn't take this lot on the road. I put tubes in these. I have a learning curve to go up on this subject. Although if all I need is to pull it out every couple of years these will probably do.
great video as usaual. best money ive spent on my log burner
Hmmm, we, here in Poland use rope with a weight attached below the chimney brush.
I only had one time the rope fell off the brush, because I used a weak carabiner, and the brush got stuck, but I simply attached a 10 kg hammer head to the rope and forced the brush down.
That would be fine for an open fire chimney, but with our log burner there is a 90 degree angle so I guess the rope would chafe off.
@@TAFishing OK, I have a whole central heating system with a wood-burning furnace. The joint to the chimney is at an angle, too, but the chimney actually goes down further with access to that part, because that's where the soot must be taken out after cleaning the chimney.
Great video guys hope to see you at the big one next year ps it ALL carp fishing this so not as good as last year
Hi Graham or should I say Brucie, good game, nice to see you, too see you nice!!!!
Anyway, with regards to your weather vane, it will spin sweeter if you put a ball bearing on top of the upright spindle thing which will then be inside the sleeve bit that covers the top of the spindle thing, if you get my drift, it's a bit fiddly but, it will respond better to the wind changes & you don't have to oil it & it cuts down on wear & tear. Love the TA vids both fishing & bushcraft stuff. Better than the T.V. So thanks to you Mike & the others.
Thanks for the tip.Good idea, and a great excuse to get on the edge of the roof again !
Hi again, my dad used to take us boys fishing & would often use dry custard powder mixed with bread & water to form a paste, we even ate it when hungry, anyway we had success with roach, rudd, bream, carp & crusian carp (spelt that wrong) whatever happened to crusian (wrong again) carp, you don't see them any more, great little fighters. Also he would cut up sections of bike inner tubes fill them with sand/dirt, tie off both ends, use a weak break off line & we would rock fish for wrasse, the tubes would slip easier than lead among the rocks & save dad money. He made drop net from old onion bag & small bike wheel with spokes removed to catch prawns, I can still taste them, wonderful memories that I thought I would share with you. You seem to be on the same wave length as dad. He would of loved your videos.
You have a beautiful home your a great fisher top man
Nice video 👍🏼 anywhere you’re planning on going for the mayfly hatch I’m off to lough mask and my local favourite Frensham trout fishery 👌🏼💥
ive only just found and im so glad i did but wish i found u quicker bc i luv your vids
Great video Graham, very enjoyable, shshsh dont mention shrimp 🦐 paste,it’s a secret.🦐🦐🦐🦐🦐🦐
You don't see a lot of gudgeon these days Graeme,my very first fish when I was 12 in 1973😁
Fantastic vid as always Graham..when are you and Mike going to start doing more fishing challenges
All i could think of when watching this was, Rod Hull - Don't do it Graham !!!!
Your house and garden are huge 😳😮
I wish more people knew about you.
I feel for you Graeme
I get notifications I like and watch. SIMPLE
Hi Graeme,
Love your Workshop and Garage. What a Fishing Den that would make.
Steve in Fife.
Hi Stevie, Actually considering renovating our old "surf shack" on the property to make it a "tackle shack" so I don't have to travel miles to the world famous pallet cabin ! more work I feel, but would be handy to have it on site for filming.
@@TAFishing Now that is an Awesome idea Graeme. Hope you do this.
Stevie.
I came here from your sons channel. When he mentioned your channel. I had to subscribe.
thanks for subscribing.More films to come. Hopefully soon pass the 200,000 barrier .
Certainly was nice few days for fishing. Wind is crazy now though
Yeah,I'm stripping the garage to apply floor paint today...leaves and dust everywhere. No fishing for a while I fear.
Grate vid yet agen. I brought the salt water boat angler magazine last week and your in it Graeme. A feature on the stinger rig you use on your boat. I seen the vid when you used the stinger rig last year. Was well chuffed to see you in the mag and loved reading your article. Grate stuff . Keep up the grate work. Your a top bloke
I used to do loads of mag and newspaper writing years ago,but once I started filming I packed it in .I just found a way to lift clips off films so it gives me the option to write the occasional article...only problem is the EU has not found a way of giving me a 28 hour day instead of 24 ...probably be just the occasional article when I get time. Think I did one on how I rigged my boat "Hi Sea Drifter" out,so keep an eye out for that one.
@@TAFishing brilliant I'll defo look out for that 1. I love the boat fishing films you do so much I'm gunner buy a wilson fliyer my self. I Need all the tips and tricks u got haha thanks agen for all your hard work
Maybe invest in a whip for canals? Works great mate
Fishing on chips for chub works great
This was a fantastic video. My wife said she only ever see me relax when I fishing or watching totally awesome fishing show video. Can not wait till the season reopens again.
Literally just finished editing next week's film....hopefully get you relaxed again...something a bit different.
@@TAFishing Great your video are the best . You made my day replying to msg gone to work a very happy man . Looking forward to next Friday. ☺️
The average roach in my local river used to be about a pound but not they were a little smaller last year
What no dust sheet!
Just watching some of your old videos and the canal looks very familiar! was it the k&a at hungerford? Dunmill lock.
You do it differently to us here in Australia. We have the carp, but we don't put them back.
Great fishing and some random chimney sweeping, did you spread it over the lawn?
Need some sea fishing guys.
In the pipeline.
@@TAFishing sweet!
Thanks Mr Pullen. You mentioned shrimp paste while talking about paste bait! I'm guessing you mean the little jars of sandwich spread? If so what would be a good binding agent? Wheetabix lol
Small jar of shrimp paste mixed in either with flour or a fine groundbait, dampen it,then keeping working it until you have a paste. You don't need much as its fairly strong smelling But use a fairly large hook, size 8 to 4.That way you have a good sized bait as smaller fish will also be nibbling at it. Paste baits are best used closer in as they are soft and not good for distance fishing.
@@TAFishing thanks bud. Have a great day.
I agree with you. Any job I can do I'll do and save the money for other things.
Gp’s behind closed doors ? Well this one isn’t, always out there doing something to help others. Thanks GP
