- With the Spurs, Leonard won an NBA championship in 2014, where he was named the Finals Most Valuable Player. After seven seasons with the Spurs, Leonard was traded to the Toronto Raptors in 2018. In 2019, he led the Raptors to their first NBA championship in franchise history and won his second Finals MVP award.
He subsequently moved to his hometown of Los Angeles and signed with the Clippers as a free agent in July 2019. In October 2021, Leonard was honored as one of the league's greatest players of all-time by being named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team.

That year in Toronto was a true saga. Honestly one of the best sports stories in a long time. The laugh, the shot, the comeback and eventually slaying the giant that was GSW. As a Toronto fan it was tough to see him go but his one year there is now stuff of NBA legend and will be told forever. Nothing but love for him in L.A.

Let’s just make this clear: the George hill for kawhi trade was a win win for both teams. Pacers wouldn’t gone far without hills and not sure if Leonard would even develop the player he’s today there since the pacers were trying to win and the Spurs development was a huge factor to why kawhi is today but long term that trades a different story

Bro the only reason he’s not an MVP and 3 or 4 time NBA champion and finals mvp (2014, -2017-, 2019, -2021-) is injuries because let’s not lie, he was supposed to be mvp and was 1st team all nba and all defense in 2017 and spurs wouldve beat the warriors, and in 2021 the clippers were blazing through everybody and even brought the suns to 6 without kawhi. Imagine with him. He was 1st team all nba that year too, forgot about his all defense though. So sad how injuries have held him back, but hopefully he comes back stronger than ever and wins another ring(s) and his first MVP(s). Good luck Kawhi
