This is not the FIRST and im sure it WONT be the LAST time we get called out to a residential property to get the car off the grass stuck at home!
Happens alot in certain areas where people dont have a driveway and they try a shortcut when emptying or loading their vehicles.
On a dry day it would of been fine!
BUT it is what it is!

Easy recvoery, but it does seem almost as if whoever had those bollards installed at the end of the grass to keep cars out did so for a reason.

Excellent as usual,word of caution I heard your disco running unattended unless it was something else, a assholes can drive off with it and b my friend got 3 points for unattended vehicle a number of years ago
It's most likely got Runlok fitted to it.
You take the key out and it can stay running but if someone gets in and releases handbrake or presses accelerator it will cur out and not start again without the key.
It's what most emergency vehicles use.
Yet you are getting rid of the discovery .. such a great vehicle for you

Morning! , Yes certainly would for the right person ideally need to live a hell of alot closer though :P , I actually sold one of my tyre vans to a lad who has now set up in SUSSEX! , fair play sounds good so far! GDB
I was going to set up this year as I have the machine and balancer, plus the materials to carry out punctures, I have experience in agriculture, truck and everything else that had pneumatic tyres. Maybe next year is my year 👍 keep doing what your doing GDB 👍

Yeah she's a good work horse and is for sale! Evoque are 10x more unreliable and too small. Not really a working vehicle in my opinion. GDB

That will teach him and indeed cost him for driving on the grass, the concrete posts are there for a reason to stop vehicles entering the grass areas by mounting the pavement. Driving around them really is not a great idea.

If he was making a delivery, why didn't he park on the road? Why does the lazy so and so have to drive somewhere he shouldn't be - are the concrete bollards not a hint? Hope your service cost him and arm and a leg!
Happens quite often on these type of housing estates, more so when they have boot full of groceries or its raining or doing a house move etc, not the first, and wont be the last. GDB
is there any way he could have got out of that mess without you?
He could have asked a couple of neighbours for a push. But they were probably too pissed off with him for tearing up the lawn to bother helping
Personally the only other way they MAY of got out without our assistance would of been putting some wood timbers underneath the wheels or some off road boards, or jack the vehicle up and put something hard underneath.. the slope does make them odds alot lot lower to get it out as vehicle has to come up the grass. Rather than being on flat ground. GDB

How good are the Land rover discovery's in your opinion and would you recommend me buying one??? I've been looking at them but would like an honest opinion of a normal down to earth person
Hello thanks for tuning in! , Personally these are my favourite all round 4x4 they are a work horse, and a great pleasure personal vehicle with all the gizmos and gadgets, but yes they dont have the best of reliability for some... alot of it is how they are maintained and looked after, alot suffered with crank issues... but value for money they are great in my opinion. I may do a review video of mine soon before it sells. GDB

Costs will vary, time of day location etc recovery is usually priced job by job.
