On September 5, let us also remember V. O. Chidambaram, a freedom fighter from Tamilnadu. He was from a well-to-do family, but spent his final years in poverty. He taught people how to live a selfless life. He was not fortunate enough to get recognition for his efforts during his lifetime.

He has taken Jodunath Singha's thesis paper and published as his own. He was aware Netaji was their foreign custody after independence when he was a ambassador but kept himself mumm
Yes, there was a controversy. Dr Radhakrishnan's claim was that he had been lecturing using these notes used in his thesis and his book was ready for publication by 1924, before Sinha's thesis was even complete. I believe Jodunath Singha completed his thesis in 1928.
Radhakrishnan in his defence also claimed that partial similarities in translations of classics were unavoidable.

Dr. Radhakrishnan just copied Mr. Jadunath's work. That was already published in Allahabad .
Its a shame.

Hi, when I went through a few more stories about Dr. Radhakrishnan, there are negative points about him plagiarising content from a student's phd thesis and publishing a book around it. If you have researched on this, would you be able to shed some light on whether this accusation is true or false. Thanks :) Keep up your great work!!
Yes it is true the Student name was Prof. Jadunath Sinha and The full thesis and the story was covered by renowned journalist of Bengal Ramananda Chatterjee And Acharya Prafulla Chandra Roy Also Supported Jadunath Sinha... But The Reconciliation Happened After Shyama Prasad Mukherjee'S Interference He Shared A Good Relationship With Dr. Radhakrishnan... And The Real Thesis Report Which Jadunath Sinha submitted In The High Court After Independence This report copy were Available In Library.. But Shortly After It Was Mysteriously Vanished From All Library But, I Think Foreign Library has A copy ..I Know The Man Who Grabbed The real Copy Of This Thesis From Foreign Library...
