Vogel im Käfig is perhaps one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard in anime. Attack on Titan is seriously on another level (not only in terms of music), and it seemed fitting to finally arrange Vogel im Käfig! I actually arranged this piece a few years ago, but this version is definitely better. I also included a tiny bit of YOUSEEBIGGIRL, it goes really well with the piano.
I'm posting this after Declaration of War, which was such a shocking episode. I'm hoping we're going to hear this theme more in S4, seeing as the series has taken a darker turn.
I used a few scenes from previous seasons that I thought were fitting. It feels so weird to visit these seasons, knowing what I know now. As I said before, I'm so sad this series is ending, but it has also brought me so much joy! I'm so excited to see where it heads next!
