I use walking poles, putting my weight on them. Has helped enormously. Using them also has given me strength in my arms, shoulders, wrists & hands, including increasing my biceps.

Thanks for the video on leg length. This question has come up in physio. I am 10 months post OP and still limping however it is lessening. Small amounts of improvements but they are there. I am doing increased walking with cane mostly and some with rolater. Doing clams with resistance and side stepping. Any additional advice? I'm 76 and impatient to get walking.

I am diagnosed with OA grade 3. Is treadmill walking at a speed of 4 kmph safe in this condition or should i stop doing it?

Hey, mrinalini! We are so sorry to hear that you're dealing with knee arthritis grade 3. It is difficult to accurately suggest whether it is safe or not as we don't know the entirety of your diagnosis, our first suggestion is that if you experience pain during walking on the treadmill or shortly after then it is likely best to give your knee enough rest to recover and heal as it is not quite ready to tolerate such intense exercise. Here are some exercises that you might find beneficial for your situation:
