Love Makita tools!
Same here 👍
my father worked in Amman for close to three years in the late 1980's. everybody in the family got to go there except me. I got to see him when he worked later in Oman. always wished I could have made the trip to Jordan, however, I was in college at the time and couldn't meet the schedule and had to stay in school. maybe some day... my dad liked to see as many wadis as he could.
Oh! That was 40 years ago, It changed a lot now! I was a baby back then 🙂. It is never too late to do something though 🤝
@@TheWoodCrafter1 I've been. I had a great time too. dreaming of Fatteh at Hasem... 😋
Macchinari stupendi, manualità appena sufficiente.
New to the channel, good work and it doesn't get better then Makita for power tools in my opinion...
💪🏻👍🏻🎩..
I'm so motivated to make my workbench...
Thank you and welcome buddy, so glad to hear that, and good luck with your build 🤝

شغل دقيق وجميل جداً، بالتوفيق
تحياتي لك وشكرا علي المشاهدة.
That wood is absolutely beautiful, it must have cost a fortune ...I guess it's worth the joy working with it
Actually the wood I used is beechwood and cherry only for the deadman and the leg vise! It’s not very expensive but worth it for a workbench project.
Thank you for your comment 👍
@@TheWoodCrafter1 I know a ton of possible uses for beechwood and cherry! Not only for the deadman 😂Greetings from Germany!

Hi
I love your channel and I love your work
Amazing job
Thank you, it is my pleasure to know that 🤝
great work, great video! the dowel pin jig that you used to bore the alignment pins to align the laminated pieces together, could you please identify the make and model of the jig and maybe where you purchased it? thank you!
Thank you 🤝
The dwelling jig is the dowelmax from Canada, model is “classic” just search the name and you should find all the info from where to buy.
@@TheWoodCrafter1 Perfect! thank you! really enjoy your calm demeanor! everything is well thought out and deliberate. Keep the videos coming!
Thank you man, appreciate your nice comment and support 🤝
Before finishing you cleaned with denatured alcohol. Then you finished with a mixture of something???, tongue oil, and lacquer thinner. What is the something?
Yes, pure Tung oil and Minwax tung oil finish which is harder than tung oil alone, I think it is a mixture of tung oil and some kind of lacquer. You can use poly or lacquer alone! Just give the workbench some sort of protection.
Ого! Добре, коли матеріалу багато.
Nice work. I enjoyed watching.
🤝
Your doweling jig that spaces out accurately - where did you get that? Maker?
This is the Dowelmax, the original one made in Canada.
Can you please tell us which dowel jig you're using? thank you...
Sure thing, it’s the dowelmax! Made in Canada and it does a good job, hope this will help you.
Beautiful work! I just discovered your channel, and I’ll probably spend hours watching. Do you ever disclose a supply list?
Thank you, I put some links for some of the tools I use if that can help
Magnifique
Bravo
Merci 🙂, pour ton gentil commentaire et pour avoir regardé
Take those gloves off bro DANGEROUS
Thank you for the advice ❤️
With your choice of woods, approximately how much did you end up paying for the lumber if you don't mind, definitely looking at building one myself when I have the funds for it 😀
Thx for your comment! The cost for lumber is around 400$, good luck with your build 👍
@@TheWoodCrafter1 Is that $400 of your countries dollars or $400 US dollars? I don't even know what money you guys use. I did, however, go on a few dates with a woman from Jordan. 😁
@@ChristopherSalisburySalz 400 US dollars, few dates means it did end up shortly 🙂

Please use a brush for the glue
What is the name of your dwelling jig..
I would like to purchase one before attempting my bench. Thank you.
Search for Dowelmax the one that is made in Canada! Good luck with your build 👍
😘😘
Those look to be TRUE 2x4's. Am I correct? Where can you get those?
Gotta buy bigger stock and make them yourself. Or at a saw mill
That is a sexy dowel jig. Looks expensive!
It is the Dowel max, and yes, it is a bit pricey :)
Any chance for a detailed plan for this beautiful table, bless the hands for making such beautiful table
Thank you for your nice comment, I don’t use plans sorry, the rest depends on the vise parts you will be using.
I will share the dimensions if this will help.
Blessings 🌹
The top thickness is 9 CM, workbench length is 160 CM, width is 58 CM, height is 85 CM, hope this will help. Had to make it small size as my workshop is 6 by 5 meters.
Thank you again for watching 👍
Great work. What kind of wood?
Thank you
Beech and cherry
Hello!
Do you have plans for this workbench?
Hello,
Actually I have built this bench without plans, only I used imagination and a measuring tape! If you have any questions please ask I will try to help.
Can I ask what are the clear jig you use for a straight cut it has magnets in it thanks steve 👨🏼🦽

@@TheWoodCrafter1 ok cheers Katz Moses one’s very much appreciated sir
Отличная работа👍, подскажите какую модель торцовочной пилы от Макита используете?
спасибо 🤝, я использую Makita LS1216 DXT
Hello, come to visit with people. It's very good. Skills.
Thank you 🤝 Maybe one day 🙂
I like that jointer safety block. Where did you get it or what is it called?
Thx, if you mean the yellow gripping push block? Then this is the GRR-RIPPER 3D Pushblock for Table Saws, Router Tables, Band Saws, and Jointers by MICRO-JIG
@@TheWoodCrafter1 about 30 seconds in you are jointing some wood. Your jointer has the big arm contraption on it. That’s what I’m referring to.
@@WalterBuildsItAll Ok, yes this is a safety protection that came with the jointer, this is the standard one for Europe, in the USA they have a push block for protection that moves forward when pushing the wood forward, I think that the Europe design is safer but I am not sure if you can find it in the US. Hope this will help you. Thx
@@TheWoodCrafter1 that does seem more safe. I have the latter, being in the USA. Interesting work. The bench seems to be on the expensive side no? Do you do much hand tool work?
@@WalterBuildsItAll actually the wood cost is around 400$ + the 150 hours of work 🙂, I do some hand tools work whenever necessary but if machines can do the job faster and I have them then this is the way to go.
Do you mind sharing the make / brand of your doweling jig ? It looks super solid
Sure thing, it is dowelmax from Canada, search for that and you will sure find it. Good luck 👍
Poderia indicar uma referencia de onde comprar os esquadros combinados que me pareceram ser de 3" e 6" que aparecem no vídeo!? ( Could you indicate a reference of where to buy the combined squares that seem to be 3" and 6" that appear in the video!? ).
Please check the links in the video description and you will find them both, the combination square and the T- bevel square. Thank you

@@TheWoodCrafter1 awesome - I appreciate the fast reply. If you don't mind sharing: what version did you get?
@@AssafOppenheimer The 10 mm classic
@@TheWoodCrafter1 I’m just about to order one (thanks to you). I just want to ask if the work you are doing in the video required any accessories? Or did you buy the classic as is?
@@AssafOppenheimer Good luck Assaf, yes the classic one has all things you need, I think it is on sale now, amzn.to/3jsff4q
Good job, how do you like your makita miter saw? Dust collection with it ok?
Great saw, excellent accuracy, super clean-cut, love the soft start, very powerful also it is made in the UK, dust collection is normal,
I use a vacuum and a dust mask, or I will end up breathing dust 😊 if I forgot any of them.
Too nice to be used.....It's a super job, magistral execution .TKS for kind sharing, Nico from ITA
Thank you Nicola, for your time and nice comment , I am happy that you enjoyed this video 🤝! I am using it now with care 😊

Good evening, I really like the workbench but I have no idea what dimensions it should have, I can't make it without knowing some dimensions.
Can you help me please?

Height X 87 CM
Width X 59 CM
Length X 170 CM as I am limited with space. But you can make it longer if you have space.
