I'm an amateur, but I'm interested in DIY, so I collected tools little by little.
I turned an 11 m² Japanese-style room in an empty house into a work room. • Building a Small workshop
It's narrow and budget-low, so I've set up this multifunctional workbench.
Tools are expensive, but the material cost of this workbench is inexpensive.
It is convenient and recommended.
By this time, I hadn't made push sticks or something like that yet, so I'm using my hands.
If you use your hands, be careful of injuries.
Add safety guards if necessary.

Finding a master japanese woodworker on YT. Good.
Finding a master japanese woodworker who puts english subtitles. Great.
Finding a master japanese woodworker who replies to comments. Priceless
and a genorous one that uploads plans .... no words
Thank you, that feedback means a lot to me.
I love small workshop channels, it shows some of the best ingenuity you will find in woodworking. It also proves you don't need some enormous workshop the size of a DIY store to produce quality work.
Not only are the workmanship, the space efficiency, the creativity, and the video all excellent, it is additionally a joy to see all these wonderful comments from people love and appreciate this man as a human being - a true craftsman and generous contributor. This is the kind of contribution that makes CZcams fabulous. We respect you!
I watched a bunch of your videos, but when I saw you take a break after gluing to play a game on your phone, I decided it was time to subscribe.
I need some space in my mind.
Thank you to everyone who supports my work.
And I love Pokemon Go.
@@YASUHIROTV 😊😊😊😊😊
And not just any game eh. Pokemon Go and to catch a pinsar also nice nice lolzzz
Wow the dedication , the perfect marriage of wood and metal , the microscopic atention to detail.
What a talented person you are.
Perfection like a katana
I am still learning and challenging myself.
For that reason, your words are my support.
Thank you very much.
Ah, the ingenuity of a patient human being. This is truly amazing to build in so many different functions.
Amazing concentration on precision and accuracy, and then those organic shapes make them beautiful as well as practical. The drawer pulls used as extended supports -- genius!
Loved the concept! Looking forward to the published plans, would like to make one of my own. Thank you for sharing your craft and skill.
Thanks so much!
Great attention to detail turning simple parts into small artworks (handles, O rings, Y clamp)
Yasuhiro thankyou for sharing your tool and design skills. The crafted special wood handles are nice and look comfortable, the vacume system is over the top, a great solution to an enduring problem. Most of all is how you approach a situation and instead of trying to get out of it you get into it patiently and create something nice and useful.
thank you so much. I want to make it a workshop where I can feel the warmth of wood.
Great job man, this can be a good opportunity for a beginner interested in DIY projects, with low budget you can get most needed tools without buying all the bulky equipment!
良くやった、偉い人だ、良く考える、作る順番で、こう言う若い人がいることが非常に嬉しい、人のマネでわなくオリジナル作り方楽しく拝見させて頂きました。
Beautiful engineering and method, brilliant design, pleasure to watch your artisan craftsmanship! Thank you.
Well, it took a year but it was well worth it. This is where price vs quality design shine the difference in the final product. Congrats for this great work of engineering and practicality!
Thank you very much.
@@YASUHIROTV well deserved
You are an inspiration! This is what I love about Japanese culture. So much quality in engineering and love goes into your creations.
Life gets peaceful after seeing a Japanese work.
I want to be able to express peace even more.
So peaceful. There is a lot the world should learn from Japanese culture.
@@YASUHIROTVone of the most profoundly peaceful and respectful societies I was able to visit in my military travels were the Japanese. Between Okinawa, Yokohama, Tokyo, Gotemba, and some other smaller towns, I really enjoyed the Japanese culture I was able to absorb.
Sir, you are a master! I wish if I ever could do so nice and precise work as you do. That was a pure pleasure to see as you create! Thank you very much for sharing your this all! I send my respect, and my best regards from Hungary!
Thank you very much!
It is a jawdropping piece of pure awesomeness! Congratulations!
Thank you very much!
I have a machines for about 40 years and the craftsmanship you put into your work is amazing. I look forward to all of your videos thought I knew a lot till I saw your work amazing what you can do
Your videos are extraordinarily beautiful, precise and clear. For me they transcend carpentry. Congratulations and thank you very much for your work.
I wish I had the ability/talent to make such beautiful AND functional projects! My shop is SUPER small (I’ve seen bigger garages 😒), but I have all of the tools here, just nowhere to really use them quickly. I have to pull the tool out (after I finally find it) use it, move it out of the way and dig for the next. Having the most commonly used tools right in one spot and ready to go, may not only save space, but time as well. This is great! 😊
Oh, and I’m an amateur, as well as lack the basic patience it takes to do something like this. I love the fact that you’ve made this available and worked in such detail, in case I ever decide to make this an undertaking. Not sure how long this took you, but I would be working on it for years and probably never finish lol
I loved watching you do all that. So clean! Everything looked flawless.
Add me at Pokémon Go?
I am very happy that the work that I have worked on for a long time is recognized. thank you.
I swear to Kami-sama, Japanese craftsmanship is on another level! And this dude took it to another level with those hand crafted drawer handles and clamps using only an angle grinder and sand paper, that's a whole new level of artisan craftsmanship!
Amazing. I am doing multi tool workbench by myself and this gave me tons of new ideas. Thanks a lot!
Magical the way you made it all go in to one unit. Cleverly done.👍
Thank you👍
Japanese people are the best at carpentry. Wish to see more of your work, please do upload
Thank you. I will continue to do my best in video production.
Buenas tardes, encontré este canal por casualidad, me suscribí solo al ver su creatividad, es usted un maestro, desearle larga vida para poder seguir sus pasos. Gracias por compartir su sabiduría. Un fuerte abrazo desde Madrid (España).
You've just won the *most flexible dude of the year* award.
This holding bracket thing for the miter saw is pure genius ! Great work !
Thank you!
Such an inspiring channel. A very beautiful workshop and I really respect the small but important aesthetic aspects, such as your handmade clamp. Thank you very much for your high quality videos.
It is very encouraging. I will continue to make videos for people to enjoy.
it's all good work. the hold-down for cutting small pieces on the miter saw is especially innovative and well-executed
It’s a great idea for a small workshop. Thank for sharing video. Japanese carpenters are always amazing. Thank you very much from Vietnam.
Thank you very much.
I bought many different types of machine and tools over the years since young. Only able to use it when volunteering at church doing props for Christmas and other's events. I wish I have the space to set up a proper workshop to construct anything that I wanted. Working with different types of machines and tools was always my hobby and working on it relieved me of my stress in life. It is only possible when living in a landed house which I do not. I am 66 years old now. Fit and still hoping for it. Watching videos like this kept my desire burning. Thank you and God bless!
This is the first time I see your video, I'm in awe of your craftsmanship and esthetic. Bravo sir!
I’m glad to hear that.
Now this is worth watching!!! Very economical and space saving... Thanks for sharing
C'est une pure merveille de vous voir travailler. Quelle patience et quelle maitrise, le résultat est époustouflant. Bravo 😃👍
Je suis heureux. Merci pour le commentaire👍
I have been thinking about this kind of solution for months, whilst i was dreaming you have finished it and added things I had never thought of. The quality of your work is of the very highest order.
Absolutely Brilliant.
I wanted to make it inexpensive and space-saving and this is the result. Thank you very much.
What a great work. Very well done. As I am facing space constrictions myself, I will surely take your work as inspiration for my own workshop. :)
Glad to be of help to you.
Great design and beautiful workmanship . Thanks for sharing.
It's very logical. Tools have become extremely useful. I needed plans. You added the link in the description. Thanks.
Wow, the precision and love put into your workbench is inspiring. A magnificent job sir.
Thank you very much.
After only a few minutes we build so much confidence in you, that I didn’t even cringe seeing you use a circular saw so close to your bare feet 😅 As someone just now jumping into woodworking as a hobby, this does not only provide an amazing array of ideas and designs, this kind of changes how to approach the whole process. The attention to detail, the thoughtfulness… Thank you for that!
I’m very happy to be told that.
Всё сделано с такой любовью. Сколько нужно проявить терпения, спокойствия и множество произвести расчётов.
Ты Творец в своем деле!
не рационально и глупо ))))
By far the most useful clip with reference to building a workbench!
Thank you!
This video is so perfect and relaxing! GREAT work!
Thank you so much!
WTF! Just incrideble! The idea, how it's made, the video, how the video explains, YOUR SKILL! Congratulations! thk you for sharing
That encourages me a lot.
Loved the video and your craftsmanship,. But amateur?! That would be a reach by any standard. You know doubt have some artistic talent because that wood stop you made for the chopsaw was over the top ingenious especially the way that it was perfectly cut so when the slide reached it ...nothing touched! That and the dust collector really impressed me to no end but all of it is just absolutely beautiful as well as totally functional. Great job young man
Perfect and optimal. Special thanks for the drawings!
I love the attention you give to every details, I love your shop and the way you work!
EXCELLENT work!! Love the 'hardware' tone...STYLISH!! I have very limited space...so would be ideal...!!
Thank you. I've used this to make my work more efficient. It is recommended.
Well done young man, what a good build
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Very satisfying to see the bench being used to complete the bench.
That's what I call "high-tech simplicity" ...very nice setup Yasuhiro
What a perfection skill.
Всё точно, красиво, эстетично настоящая работа мастера!!!
Спасибо за ваши комплименты.
This is brilliant. Wish i was as confident to make one
I love this. I intend to make a wood work shop in my basement. I will be very much inspired by your video to convert an old workbench I have left over from previous owner of the home to something that is as versatile and useful as this
I noticed that the japanese are really excellent carpenters.Another notable one is JSK-koubou.I really enjoyed looking they were at work.I also noticed that their workshops and equipments are the best.
Thank you.
I am learning and gaining wisdom from people all over the world.
I want to be a member of the relay for evolution.
Great work! The best workbench video I've watched to date. Amazing design, thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much!
@@YASUHIROTV do you have plans for sale?
Thank you for putting the name of each machines and other tools
Sir, the level of ingenuity and craftmanship in your videos is simply unparalleled. You are an inspiration to watch.
It is encouraging.
Thank you very much.
I've had this almost exact idea myself a while back just not yet got round to making it.
I used to work at IKEA and when they re-furbished a large area of the store over lockdown, they pulled out several departments and it all went out for recycling. One department threw out an old expensive solid wood kitchen worktop. About 2.5 metres long and the far right end had a rounded square taken out which was where a sink went.
I'm going to be building a desk in my garage and using this as my worktop. I had initially thought of cutting the end off with the hole in it but then decided to route out around it to make it square so I can place a flat piece of ply. If I cut more than one out out I can fix a powertool to the underside and have a modular function to it by using my circular saw, planer, router, jigsaw etc.
Now, I think I'll cut the end off and make your desk instead - that way I can put it on lockable wheels and take it out of the garage/workshop and have the mess out there instead which will make it far easier to clean up.
Отличная мастерская. Чистота. Красота. Тот идеал к которому стоит стремиться. Привет тебе от столярного брата из России. Peace
Спасибо.
Я рада.
Peace
Очень грамотная инженерная проработка. Однозначно, нравится.
Wonderful balance between the practical and the beautiful. Thank you, really enjoyed watching this.
So glad!
I loved watching you do all that. So clean! Everything looked flawless
Thank you so much!!
man, you are magician. it's incredible! thanks a lot for this creation! wish you all the best!
Thank you too!
It is very encouraging.
Wow .. this video blew my mind. I have a similar set up with the table ... but love the additional tools like the plainer, sanding dust vent and hose stow away. Time to upgrade my setup. THANKS !
Let's keep upgrading each other.
Thanks.
Well thought out and executed. You will be happy while using these things you have made. What life is for.
Glad to hear your praise.
It was important for the continuation of my free activities that so many people responded to this work.
Thank you so much.
You have shown what a bright mind can do when applied to a task. You've inspired me.
Amazing ! Lots of ideas when available space is an issue
Thank you so much.
Super travail. Félicitation et merci d'avoir partagé les plans 😀
Small workshop with amazing craftsmanship !
brilliant skill, precision and craftsmanship
Thank you very much.
This is incredible! The way your mind works... I sincerely hope you have a job that allows you to use your abilities and where you are appreciated and well paid. Thank you so much for sharing. This was truly a feat of engineering ingenuity and incredible woodworking skills.
Your comments are an encouragement to me. I am very happy to hear you say that. I still lack knowledge and skills and I want to grow more.
I could tell you how my mind works when helplessly getting hooked on the pleasures of CZcams
I must log in to comment your video.
This is truely fascinating idea I've ever seen!!! And neat and professional, not amateur for me at all
Your talent and skills definitely exceed the "amateur " wood worker. I am an amateur, you sir are a Craft Master.
Thank you for sharing your designs and skills with us. Very enjoyable to watch, and learn from.
Thank you very much! I still have a lot to learn.
Pure joy! Amazing work!
Thank you so much!
Absolut amazing, making the most of the minimum. Greetings from Hamburg

Boa noite meu amigo.
Openly I watch your cratfmanship ,awesome I love carpentry and i learn so much from great Job!!!!!
Uncompromising functionality executed in an original and ingenious fashion! I am a big fan of all of your work. The modularity of your design is beyond clever and I believe you have only revealed but a fraction of your artistry so far. It's no surprise to see such craftsmanship and amazing ideas spring forth from one of Japan's sons. I certainly hope to see more from you in the future, so I'll keep my eyes open! Thank you for the high quality content and greetings from Anchorage Alaska!
I am glad to hear you say so. Thank you for watching my videos.
Totally agree and well said!
How could 152 people give this a thumb down?? There's nothing bad that he did. It's a great build.
I didn't down vote myself, but that planer looks dangerous
There's quite a lot to dislike. Using a smartphone to turn tools on and off for one. Gonna struggle with that when all his digits have succumbed to the unsafe tools 🤣
Now this, is the best work I had ever seen. Flawless...
great job, thank you to share and support!
Great job on the build and videography!!
Thanks
Очень красивая мастерская 😀 ты просто мастер своего дела ☺️

That encourages me a lot.
Whoa... thats an amazing workbench idea!
For once, YT algorithm was actually correct 😂

Thank you so much.👍
Imaginative designs and creative use of materials and technology to create what many might consider a work of art. True craftsmanship!
I’m glad to hear that.
Loved the idea for the electric hand planer. I have one and havent used it much because my technique sucks, I keep gouging the wood. BUT if I use this idea, I can use it more securely.
Great video!
Thank you!
i got all sorts of inspiration from this video and some good ideas too, thank you 👍
