I was once working g security, remember being told "No one enters this door, not even thr owner" but the owner thing always seemed like a joke. One day I was opening, owner tried to walk in the main entrance I had locked, told him to go around and pushed back when people said he was the owner. I get the impression that he's a "know-it-all", or the type that doesn't listen to others. So, they let his ass find out the hard way.
And whether they intervened or not, it wouldn't have helped because the guy was hellbent on being right and felt entitled. So, that's on him, not the other workers. They can't control that man's actions. They can only control what they do. So, he's responsible for his own actions, which he made on his own despite another worker informing him.

I was once working g security, remember being told "No one enters this door, not even thr owner" but the owner thing always seemed like a joke. One day I was opening, owner tried to walk in the main entrance I had locked, told him to go around and pushed back when people said he was the owner.
He then thanked me for doing my job as intended even if i had never met him before that mome and had never met him to make that connection lol

A couple of things: any security professional worth their weight in salt would do their homework and know who the owners are; if the security team did not let their ego override their authority, it would have been very easy to verify that he was an owner.
