I just found this series and am finding it eminently enjoyable. You take what could be a difficult skill and break it down for beginners. Your starting point is also as someone new to each craft, not a craft master who has a large amount of money in tools making a tutorial. Showing this from a basic view is a very good way to go. I also like how you describe things as someone approaching something for the first time, not knowing the technical names, which helps other newbies learn, as they too, would not know the technical names of things. Keep up the good work.

Love this channel! As a leather worker, I would like to suggest a slight change to your design. The large opening at the forearm can have any edge design, one would like. At the wrist, however, I would recommend a slight shortening of the pattern at the underside of the wrist.
Once the bracers are laced tightly to the arm, the hand will be quite restricted, if the edge has not been shortened toward the laces. It can be a very slight arch upwards, so that the leather pattern shows a mild crescent.
    Keep up the great work.

Yay finally completed my first leather project, made my self one bracer, there’s a lot wrong with it, messy lines, inconsistent stamping, little bevelling (as having trouble with that), poorly crafted wolf. but it’s finished, still happy with it for being my first leather craft project.

A set of bracers was one of the first things I did when I got into leathercraft. Simple enough and infinitely customizable. A recommendation I'd make would be to line the bracers. Use a lighter weight outside piece and line with another light piece. Then glue the pieces, flesh side to flesh side, and stitch. Finally proceed with the steps you laid out.

Chainmaille would be an interesting next step for you. You could do either jewelry or armour with it. And tool wise, you really only need two needle nosed plyers. There's tons of pattern types out there as well, from the armour standard European 4-in-1, to dragonscale, to elfweave and beyond.
