Flandre even has one of the lowest jungle proximities and he was getting ganked by the enemy every time. Yet he was able to survive and be useful for the team.

As an old snake fan this video warmed my heart, even if LNG didnt get passed groups its legacy was held high by its long time franchise player, Flandre 加油！
I was in China in a bar next to a big chinese university watching the match when we won worlds. It was absolute CHAOS in the streets after the win. College students were running in their underwear in the streets waving the EDG flag with fans following them. the police where not even bothered chasing them out, most of them play league as well. You had motorcades of fans on electric scooters waving the EDG flag and shouting EDG NIUBI it was absolutely mad. The EDG fan base in china runs way deeper than the RNG, IG or FPX fanbase. EDG was literally built from the ground by Clearlove who was one of the OGs in team WE who was alongside OMG one of the first chinese teams to make a mark on the global league scene. People who in S2-3 were supporting WE where most likely supporting EDG right after the whole team left. The wild celebrations after EDG won worlds was one of the first ever times I've seen true nationalism in china. Not a bunch of old lost generation boomers waving the flag for some CCP propaganda olympic win, but a new generation of people who as a nation are proud of the accomplishments of our people and not of the communist party.

I read that some of the kids who eventually become Olympic gold medal divers don't even know how to swim when they are selected for the Chinese Olympic team, because they have "good body control and steady feet". Then the Chinese scouts go to their parents and essentially "buy" their children in order to put them through some really, really tough training, that isolates them from anything that isn't the sport, in order to achieve perfection. The end results are pretty impressive, but then we get things like the random interview in Beijing 2008 where the athlete was asked about her family and she said "they're not here, and this is not important for me". LoL, and Esports in general, is something that Chinese players actually enjoy and choose to play for themselves. That's why this is actually an accomplishment by Chinese people doing the thing they like, rather than "CCP factory-assembled gold medalists".

In china we have sport school（体校) that for people purely focus on being athlete, they came from family with nothing that tried to change their fate doing what they love or good at, it is exactly like the NBA players route, and Chinese system gave them a great chance for success, and they improved their livelihoods after that, stop with the fake narrative of they are being forced into doing something they don't like, it's different and hard due to the size of Chinese population, it doesn't mean that they don't have a choice, in fact many of the unaccomplished players retired and still doing decently as coach for children.

Hardly, t1 fell apart, in game 4, but that was thanks to a poor draft for the type of gameplan they tried to implement, their early was strong, but once DWG's gameplan actuated they had complete control, so there were a dozen plays that were forced focusing on faker because he was playing ryze, it was his job to implement risky plays. But, what point is there in explaining that to someone who uses the buzzword insult of shaker

If you are talking about the series they had at Worlds, though, you are dead wrong. Unlike in the LCK Summer Finals, T1 had a legitimate shot at winning in that series, and if it were not for ShowMaker's astounding play on LeBlanc, they would have done just that.

Hi, Dong! I don't know if you're reading every single comment and will notice this, but if yes: was the casters+music moments chosen on purpose to sound like an intense rap songs? Because even though I'm not much into the rap-genre, I got carried away by pure passion and harmony of music and people screaming at the top of their lungs.
It's not even about money with Chinese boomers, it's that their boomer friends don't know that they can make a living with it or it's not esteemed profession on moral high ground like being a doctor, so it's just them not being able to brag to other boomer parents.
