- Now is the time that men's trousers can be worn as women's and, conversely, women's trousers as men's. I know this for sure, because I have been selling denim clothing for many years. So, fashionable trousers are bananas; both “boys and girls” wear the same model.
Sometimes you try on a male model, and it fits you like a glove. Therefore, you can safely remake men’s trousers for yourself.
I have my husband’s black linen trousers, which have been lying in the closet for several years, brand new, bought for him when he was still thin and slender.
I tried them on myself, they fit me, but they don’t meet by 8 cm and the waist is low, and the trouser leg is also narrow. In this case, the alteration will not be difficult.
1) I cut off the belt loops and cut off the belt.
2) Then I cut the side seams.
3) The belt will have a wide elastic band, I bought a special 25 cm fabric for this, the price is 140 rubles.
4) I will widen the trouser leg, for this I picked up almost the same black linen. Then I regretted that I bought too few elastic bands; I should have made inserts from it.
5) Lompas, 8 cm wide, will not go to the end of the trouser legs. I folded the edge and stitched it.
6) I stitched the inserts to the front of the trousers.
7) I cut out strips of fabric, 3 cm wide, folded them in half, turned the edges inward and stitched narrow strips, cut them into pieces 8 cm long, like stripes.
8) I stitched these stripes onto the bottom of the trouser legs, as a continuation of the stripe. The width between them is 3 cm.
9) I tried on the elastic band on myself and cut off the excess. It should fit snugly, but not be too tight. I marked 4 marks at the same distance, and did the same on the trousers.
10) Connected the marks and sewed the elastic to the trousers. To do this, I stretched the elastic so that its length coincided with the trousers.
11) The trousers turned out to be very comfortable, fit perfectly, do not slip, and look stylish.
I have already attached such an elastic band to skinny trousers and am very pleased with the result. The elastic gently tightens the stomach, hides protruding parts of the body and covers the lower back.

Оно того не стоит, столько ненужной возни. Ну если только совсем занять себя нечем и шить умеешь. Для неумех это не подходит 😢
Ужас, не ломпас, а лАмпас.... Люди в школу не ходили, учиться у них нет желания.
Можно конечно сэкономить, перешив ставшими маленькими брюки, только надо оверлок купить 😂
"Решетка" делает брюки простецкими и видок такой рыночный....

конечно хорошо получилось,но где взять ткань чтобы подошла по цвету.Даже черный цвет бывает разным и по фактуре и по цвету,а если цветные брюки то и вовсе не подобрать

А я по боковым швам лампасы другого цвета вставляю. Или тупо перекраиваю или вообще разрежу на мелкие части и сошью лоскутное одеяло
