Nice. Mom and Dad have been there a time or to. I'll be sure to show it to Mom. Can't show it to Dad but he sees us all.👍🇨🇦
Thank you for watching, Nvragn. We are so sorry to hear for the loss of your father and you are so right - he is watching over y'all at all times. We hope that you have a great evening.
The last time we ate there I definitely don't remember it had been that price. Wow... that's pretty pricey. Everything we have had from there is good, but don't know that I could go back for that price now. It's good, but not sure if that good. Great honest review!
The breakfast and brunch seems to be more fairly priced. We're glad to hear that you had a great experience here. We didn't think that the food was terrible but definitely not in line to be charged $39.95 per person. Thanks for watching, Just Out 'n About.
Wow! Expensive.
We agree! We’ve heard that the brunch is priced more appropriately but dinner sure was pricey. Thanks for watching, Jan.
As always a great video Food looked great Thanks for sharing 👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
We appreciate your kind words, @PR_II! Thanks so much for watching! We hope that y’all have a wonderful week!
So glad you brought up the price! Always honest with your reviews...and I wouldn't pay that either! By the looks of the food I would probably prop myself at the end of the desert bar
Thank you, Candace. The dessert bar was great. We enjoyed how most of the dessert portions were smaller so it was easier to sample a few different items. We hope that you're having a great start to your week and thank you for watching.
AWESOME 😎👍💯
Thank you, Joey! We really appreciate that.
YOU ARE VERY WELCOME TOO MY FRIEND
The restaurant looked really nice as did the way they had the food layer out but I couldn't pay that price when there are so many better options in the area with alot better food quality. Tell Gentry I have a hat just like his. Hope you all have a good rest of the week
We agree! There are so many better options, especially in the Pigeon Forge area. Gentry said that he likes your style when we told him that you have the same hat. We hope that you're having a great week as well and thank you for watching, Scott.
We thought about going there back in the Fall...but did not know whether we could if we were not staying at the resort. Now we know...but we know to probably skip it. That is awfully expensive for a meal you can get at other places out there. Esp. when you say that it's not really great. I'll stick with Paula Deene's Kitchen for my country meal...and Huck Finn's for my catfish! Hope ya'll are having a great week and God bless.
Cathy, you can eat here without staying in the resort and you can also make reservations online. We have read that their brunch is really good and is priced more appropriately but we would avoid the Saturday Night buffet. Like you said, with Huck Finn's right down the road, there's definitely some better choices at there. Thank you again for introducing us to Huck Finn's. We are looking forward to returning to Huck Finn's again next month. We'll have to check out Paula Deen's restaurant too. Do you have any recommendations on what you like to order at Paula Deen's? Thank you for watching and we hope that you're having a great week, Cathy.
@@EveryDayIsSaturdayTV We do the Family Style. Lunch is cheaper with the same choices. Everything is good...but those cheddar biscuits are to die for. Even better than Red Lobster. The broccoli casserole and the collards are also amazing! The chicken and catfish are favorites. Shucks...it's all good...have not had anything I didn't love....and we have tried everything at one time or another. If ya'll like banana pudding you are in for a treat! One time the tea was not that good...but every other time it's been great! I want to go for breakfast sometime. Some good selections on that menu that I need to try. Also love her store. So many cool things there.
Looking awesome 👏 definitely worth the price if you are hungry.
We’ve been to the buffet at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas and it was $32.99 for nearly 4 times the food and better quality. We wanted to give everyone fair warning since we believe Song and Hearth was grossly overpriced for the quality of the food. Although, we’ve heard that their brunch is great and it’s priced more appropriately.
@@EveryDayIsSaturdayTV LV is the buffet capital of the world, I’m not sure it’s fair to compare the two places.
@James Boswell - We agree that it's not fair to compare this buffet to one in Vegas but we also believe it's not fair for S&H to charge customers prices that are higher than one of the premiere buffets in Vegas when they cannot deliver a quality of food that's also comparable. After we left, we looked at some other videos and reviews online who compared it to Golden Corral. We just don't want to steer anyone in the wrong direction when there are better options in the area for the price. We love Dollywood and we enjoy staying at the DreamMore but S&H fell short for us.
Hello from Gatlinburg!!
Hello Sean! Thanks for stopping by.
Brent, Yes that price is way too much for a Buffet like that, I agree with you, If it had Prime Rib and Ribeyes on it yes I would had pay that price, You can go to Dollywood to eat cheaper, Hugs n Love to you all.
We completely agree with you, @MsSusie1959! Thanks so much for watching! We hope that you have a wonderful week!
just starting the video, but wanted to pause to say thank you for not doing those annoying ‘shorts’ that youtube is pushing on everyone. i skip right past them, but i guess they make money on them so maybe thats why, but i like a real and full video, vs a short repeat of a video i already saw.. lol, ok, now on to your video. :-)
Thank you, Gail. We have created a few shorts in the past that were not monetized, but prefer to create long form videos much more than the shorts. Thank you for watching and we hope that you're having a great week.
I can’t justify $40 a person! They don’t have enough variety for those prices. Thanks for taking us there!
We felt the same, @Shawna Nichols. We have heard from some friends that their brunch is more reasonable. Thanks so much for watching! We hope that your week is off to a great start!
What’s up from nyc
Thank you for the videos.
God bless your beautiful family.
Thank you so much, @Dad Of3 We really appreciate your kind comment and thank you for watching from NYC,.
Can’t wait til 2046! Will be a fun day and hopefully she is still living. Cool to see the plank for her front porch. That salad bar looked fresh ! Our kids would eat the whole chicken tender and tater tot dish lolol. Weird they put strawberries on the carrot cake!
We hope that she'll also be able to open the box on that day and share it with her fans. Your kids would love the chicken tender and tater tot section - our boys tore that side of the buffet up. We thought it was an interesting combo to have the carrot cake and strawberries too. Thanks for watching. We hope that y'all have a great evening.
I've heard a few people say that the resort pricing is the main problem here. J & B in the Hills basically gave it the same review - that it wasn't bad, but there's better out there.
Thanks for letting us know - the resort pricing makes sense now for why the price was so inflated. We agree - there's definitely better out there, especially in Pigeon Forge. Thanks so much for watching, Raymond. We hope that you have a great evening.
Our favorite restaurant in the area, we like to go on prime rib night.
We've talked about returning at some point to try their brunch. Thanks for watching.
I agree on the price. Too high! Several CZcamsrs said the same thing. Food looked good though!
Some of the food was decent but still not close to being worth what they charged. Thank you so much for watching, CindyLuWho. We hope that you're having a great week so far.
@@EveryDayIsSaturdayTV Thank you! I'm in Gatlinburg for a week so life is Good!
@@cindyluwhonelson1416 Hope you have fun! 💞
Nothing looked that good to me. And the price is way too high. The boys are so cute 😍
We agree, JoAnn. The food was very average at best and the price was not even close to being a fair price for the quality and quantity of the buffet selections. Thanks so much for your kind comment about the boys. We really appreciate that. We hope that you have a great evening!
Wow, that price was pretty stiff ! Too bad it was middle-of-the-road quality. The grit bar certainly sounded different. Something I’ve not heard of before. Thanks for the review.
We thought that it was pricey as well, @Julie. We have heard from some friends that their brunch is more reasonable. Thanks so much for watching! We hope that you’re having a great Monday!
Brent, nothing like from Henry that time? I was looking forward to his response! Everyone's food looked so good but, I'll pass on the shrimp! That picture is cool looking. Really enjoyed your video!
We're sorry, Carla. We tried to get him to talk about his thoughts but he was speechless for this video and seemed to be more interested in looking at the train so we didn't include his response. Hopefully he'll be more talkative in the next video. Jennifer enjoyed the shrimp and grits but like you, I was not a fan. Thank you so much for watching, Carla. We hope that you have a wonderful weekend ahead.
@@EveryDayIsSaturdayTV you're welcome! Thank you and I hope y'all have a wonderful weekend ahead as well.
Completely agree with you about overpriced, big time. 😮 It's all the eateries at Dollywood. Love Dolly but way too much 💸. 😊
Has anyone else here ever thought about what it was like being a meat carver at Old Country Buffet?
The Old Country Buffet - now that place brings back some really old memories. You bring up a great question. I bet they would no longer enjoy eating prime rib after having to carve it all day. Thanks for watching, Amare.
Yeah. That's a lot more than I'm willing to spend on a meal anywhere honestly. I guess you pay for the ambiance.
It's definitely way too much to pay. The ambiance was nice but since they didn't play any music, it was almost too quiet at times and everyone could hear each other's conversations. Thanks for watching, @D and T in Tennessee
Dream More is such a beautiful resort. Always love all the Dolly themed items. I've never heard of a Grits Bar or a Doughnut Wall. The meal was a little pricey but often food at resorts is over-priced. Now you can say you have eaten there if anyone asks. I'm sure your review will be a good source of information for someone contemplating going there. Nice job and an honest review.
The resort pricing is definitely expensive and our season pass discount didn't put much of a dent on the final bill. We really enjoy Aunt Granny's buffet at Dollywood and with the $39.95 price, we had expectations of this buffet being on the same level, if not better in quality than Aunt Granny's. The ribs were a big hit with everyone at our table and we also all enjoyed the macaroni. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
A gracious, good evening Brent, Jennifer, Gentry and Henry from Grandview, Missouri! Hope the week is treating you all well. This video made me HUNGRY. And I just finished dinner too. LOL! Speaking of Dolly Parton. Have any of you heard her latest song, "Don't Make Me Come Down There"? If not, it is worth a listen. Enjoy the rest of your evening. Sleep sweet. Blessed Be.
Thank you so much, Tracy! We hope that you're having a great week as well. We haven't heard her new song yet, but we are going to find it in a moment and take a listen. Thank you for letting us know about it. Thank you so much for watching. We really appreciate you.
I would have to agree with you about the price. The food honestly didn't look even as good as golden corral. Thanks again for sharing.
You are so correct - a Golden Corral would have been more enjoyable than our experience here and would have likely had a better selection. Our favorite theme park restaurant of all time is Aunt Grannies and we had expectations that this place would have been similar, but that was not our experience. Thanks so much for watching, Karla.
This is Heath, Marcia would have thrown me off Mt LeConte if we paid that much and got that lack of food quality.
This is our favorite comment of the day….lol! 😆 The food for that price was nothing to write home about. Thanks so much for watching, Heath and Marsha! We hope that y’all are having an awesome week!
$40.00 a person!!! Hard pass, brother!!!
and that's with the discount
@@marcboulanger4300 😳😳😳
Definitely! We will not be back either. We’ve been to the buffet at Mandalay Bay in Lad Vegas, which was much larger and had better food…..it was $32.99 but still priced better than Song and Hearth. We had much higher expectations with their pricing but it fell very short on those expectations.
The food looked good but pricey
Some of the food was good but the $39.95 per person was so high for the quality. Thank you for watching, Tawna. We hope that you have a wonderful weekend ahead.
my dear friend i totally agree with you ,i was not impressed with the food quality and or quantity ,this is why i love your channel you speak the truth ,please do not get me wrong i love dolly but i really think they good do alot better than this
We are with you - they have so much potential to deliver better quality and also quantity, especially given the price and also the Dollywood brand. As always, we thank you for watching, Frank. We hope that you have a great evening.
@@EveryDayIsSaturdayTV you absolutely nailed it correctly ,thank you for the response ,like i mentioned before i truly love your honesty
