Interesting drive out of Blackpool brought back some memories, like you said it was the main route in and out of Blackpool before they opened up the railway line as a road. Loved all the history that you give as you drive along. It's changed so much over the past 10 Years with new houses everywhere. 👍

Brought back memories seeing Kirkham - my late grandparents lived in the flats on the right just before St Michaels church. Their ashes were scattered in the churchyard.
Legend has it Stephen is still driving down the mysterious road.

Love your drive from Blackpool to kirkham it's a nice scenic drive kirkham is a nice place to shop it has a market day I can remember going with my grandparents it's nice to just have a look round the markets I love kirkham it's nice drive there and a very scenic drive back can't wait for the next video I've enjoyed this video

Hi.Steve..i always enjoyed watching your interesting videos on the updates of the surrounding areas around Blackpool and fylde coast..cleveleys, Fleetwood, poulton le fylde etc. and now kirkham..All these places do bring me back to the memory lane and all these places l visited were more than forty years ago..

About time you were locked up in Kirkham HMP :) I used to work in Kirkham, and each afternoon they used to shoot up jets at the local test base. You can see Blackpool tower, when lit up, from around the open prison facility.

Living in Kent I've never been up to Blackpool or any of the areas that you show on your videos. It's brilliant seeing how other towns and villages compare to those down here. Keep up the good work, its much appreciated by all of your subscribers. 👍

The bridge you went over (nr Wareings) was the South Fylde railway line Stephen, been using that quite a lot lately on my jollies. A great drive and a bit like all my yesterdays for me. Lived at Marton for a few years before leaving school and moving back to Preston. Later on worked as a postman out of the Kirkham Post Office, and much later still worked for Holmeswood Coaches and we had the Kirkham Grammar school contract. Shame about the market square being dug up, which hopefully is a refurb project and will be reinstated. Would be a crime if it isn't. Keep up the good work lad!

I remember a village with a big green that had an old fire engine on it. I can't recall the name but it sticks in my mind because everything we went that way to Fleetwood my brother was car sick, it didn't matter how far we had travelled he was always bad in that place. If anyone knows the name of the village can you let me know please.
