Here after his passing. I've been binging videos of him for hours. RIP to a legend
Damn right 🤘💯
Me too. Bittersweet, but hilarious.
Never another like Gilbert. Never not funny.
If you’re not a Howard Stern fan check him out on Stern.
me to
Gilbert Gottfried is a national treasure.
Yoikes
And it's time to bury him in the back yard.
He was! RIP.
''I like to do it right away'' lol.... both Gilbert and Norm are the most corageous comedians I've ever seen... didn't even know they were sick
Any chance I get I'll go on CZcams and I'll watch Gilbert Gottfried read 50 Shades of Grey in that majestic voice of his.
Clonekid omg I would LOVE that!
It's already on CZcams!
I'd love to be a fly on the wall in Gottfried's house just to hear his real voice.
Livid Imp it sounds fancy lol
Just search for it on youtube, he used it on howard stern once.
That IS his real voice...not kidding.
i knew Gilbert VERY well back in the day, that IS his real voice
there is a link right above your reply to it...
A Legend !!!
"The Aristocrats" lol
Damn Slam
Most every comedian you like, looks up to Gilbert Gottfried as a comedian's comedian. That's because almost every comedian loves Gilbert.
yes he has made me laugh for years
a legend gone too soon.
That story about the autistic child learning to communicate through Iago is honestly so touching. I was diagnosed with Asperger's when I was 2, and The Genie was one of my best friends growing up. :,)
My favorite part about that was when he said he learned all knows about autism from Jenny McCarthy. Just firin' em off left and right. What a legend.
Rest in peace Gillbert. Thanks for all the years of laughter you gave us
Seeing him walk those two steps with Colbert to help him up and then steady himself with a hand on the desk was pretty difficult, knowing what we do know about what he was going though. Almost as difficult as seeing him wearing a proper suit and not a Sears Men's Section button down. A legend, really and truly. People who've only seen him in the movies have no idea how amazing a stand up Gilbert was. Relentlessly funny all the time. He'll be missed by anyone with a sense of humor.
@@danielm4114 stand up and roasts will never be the same.
That Polio joke nearly killed me...
I see what u did there!
*sorry I'm 2 years late, I am recovering from polio*
You are both hilarious 🤭🤘 keep on, man
this, in my opinion, is the very core of what a good comedian is. he comes in to some late show, asked about banal past experiences, and almost magically manages to tell good old fashioned fine, funny stories, as simple as that. he uses whatever resource is available, and just nails it. mashallah brotha
Gilbert is truly one of a kind! His humor is the guiltiest pleasure of all!
He had a way of being offensive without being mean. I don't think any subject should be off limits to comedy; I process life through jokes and laughter. Laughing at the heinous crap makes it tolerable, reminds me that this whole damn thing we're doing called living is pretty absurd when you try to make sense of it. Gilbert could do that without punching down , and I'll miss him for it.
I mean he was pretty mean and brutal on the roasts, not that I'm complaining. They are fkn hilarious
Yeah I disagree with your whole opinion on life .Dont hate on me just saying my point of view ,there are better ways to handle a tragedy.
Because the people affected by it wont laugh at the joke
@@dude9318 are you sure that aren't subjective too? "the people affected by it wont laugh at the joke" because most of the time when we don't laugh it wasn't set as a joke or the joke was really uncalled personal attack to someone. Comedian on stage saying "men at my age gets really ugly" is different from random guy pointing me and saying "you are old and ugly" on the street.
He's my hero for telling the aristocrat joke two days after 9/11. That was psychotherapy at its finest
@Robert McConnell He realized it was way too soon for that, so thanks to his quick wit he abandoned his monologue and went into the aristocrats joke. Brilliant!
That’s a very weird way to phrase it, he told a 9/11 joke two days after 9/11 THEN he told the aristocrats joke so that would be a bigger headline then the 9/11 thing and it worked people forgot about it. But you’re acting like he planned on telling that to help people cope with 9/11 that isn’t at all what happened he pulled that aristocrats joke out of his ass he clearly wasn’t planning on telling it
I love his rendition of the aristocrats.
Still the best one I've ever heard
Without a doubt the best one as far as I'm concerned. "And OH, that sweat!"
Captain 'Winkle' I thought it was based on an actual event at your house.
oh no, now I have to go on a gilbert binge
respect for having Gilbert on
One of the few comedians who actually had me laughing so hard I had tears come to my eyes. His wild, unhinged bits certainly aren't hacky or clichéd.
Gilbert one of the funniest ever.. The true joker.
I find his voice soothing. I love Iago.
Loved this man. Loved him even more when they showed that picture of him making faces while standing next to Rump. RIP Good sir, well done 👏
Miss him already. When he referred to Trump as « mein furher » on the apprentice… classic. Foretelling.
Rip Gilbert Gottfried 🙏 1955 - 2022
The moment i heard his voice i was a kid again
Who the fuck are you BLACK WOLF..... Benjamin Buttons ??
+ExclusiveLM I think it's supposed to be Sam Elliot.
LOVE him...his "Dirty Jokes" DVD is funny as fuck!
gottfried is a master comedian, he goes where others could never go lol
Gilbert cracks himself up.
I love watching him get a kick out of himself xD
He also is very appreciative of other people's attempts at humor.
love your work gilbert. your the best.
you're*
I like his shot at Jenny McCarthy. Bam. :)
She doesn't like shots, heyooooooo!
You know, though I find his jokes about the Japan Tsunami and other tragic events in poor taste, you got to admire his sticking to who he is and not giving in to anyone.
+Jackson DeStefano His entire act is a study in poor taste.
No one cares if you think his jokes are in poor taste.
I haven't heard this supposed tsunami joke but aside from his deep portfolio of character acting and VO he's a stand up with a giant archive. What people mostly recognize him as is
'Guy who says the wrong things for the sake of wrong racist misogynist tone deaf uncle/grampa gilbert godfried' (Think elderly Silverman)
A frequently requested bit by talkshow hosts like Leno.
"they have a right to be insulted" No they do not. Nobody has a "right" to be insulted. Thats why this crybully PC bullshit is getting so out of hand. We need to start shaming the fuck out of people again for being butthurt over every little thing. They're not dicks, they're jokes; Don't take them so hard.
He is a comedian, remember that. Look at Daniel Tosh, his jokes are horrible but funny.
i just love his laugh
He has the perfect voice for a GTA character
"I learned everything I know about autism from Jenny McCarthy." Ha! I fucking love this man.
Right when he said yellow, i was thinking "oh no"
From his early stand-up on An Evening at the Improv to hosting USA Up All Night to his amazing, colossal podcast, Gilbert Gottfried has always been a favorite of mine. One of the greats!
LOL i love the ending.. GUess where you cant say that.... CBS.... Gilberts reaction had me in stitches.
I've never seen Colbert so afraid of his guest
cringe worthy Colbert
That's not fear; it's awe.
These new shitty hosts can't handle Gilbert.
It’s fear. His audience doesn’t like actual comedy
It’s because Gottfried has long had a reputation as “the comedian’s comedian.” It’s for good reason.
Big fan of the Podcast. Great interviews with classics, legends.
I love the fact that Gilbert hasn't lost his signature voice! Love him!
Great bit. Thank you for putting online.
Good man. Need more comedians like him :D
His voice is iconic
Love this guy. My childhood movies. Great.
This was far too short. Gilbert is a International Treasure...
Anyone here who loves Gilbert, please watch his segment on Norm Macdonald live talking about Catherine Zeta Jones. Hilarious
Gilbert Sounds Like Iago Love It LOL!
I loved how Gilbert Gottfried played Digit from Cyberchase!
That’s how I know him! He was my childhood ☺️
@@booberfraggle So sad that he died! 😢
I can't stand how much he makes me laugh. His voice aloe gets me.
lol
The best part of this is just looking at Stephen going "How much of this interview will I legally be able to put on the air?"
The Aristocrats. Gilbert is a comedy Gott.
Holy shit. This guy smashes every interview. My sides are hurting!😂
Watching with Closed Captioning is so much more honest. I'd thought he had said Dick Van Dyke was 90 but now I know we are in the clear and he is only 19. So young for having accomplished so much. That kid is going places.
Daniel Rose
hahaha! I'm deaf in one ear and often have to use CC,and yet it makes everything more hilarious because of things just like that. I put it on whenever i can to mess with people around me lol!
TheNocturnalpheonix I kind of love cc because I really focus on dialogue and performance when watching anything. CZcams is just magical though. So ridiculous but you get the mist and a bit of a laugh when it is way off the mark.
R.i.p. Gilbert ♡
Gilbert Gottfried is The Voice Of Iago from Aladdin 1992 😆
Gotta love Gilbert
Gil's podcast is priceless. Sooooooo good...
His weekly podcast that came out on Mondays was a big boost to me starting another week in the salt mine.
Look, I'm not sorry, I was laughing through this entire video, pretty much. LMAO!
He's such a living legend. It sucks to see him getting older, who on Earth could ever take his place?
Ah, about that.
No one… he is one of a kind. ❤️😔
May he Rest In Peace 🕊
Love this guy. He is the most Jewish man that ever Jew'd!
Corron Johnson, for me that would be Woody Allen.
Corron Johnson hes my second favorite Jew next to Dan avidan
Corron Johnson as a jewish guy i got to agree.
@@NerdyNeutron not JC?
erlend steine Nah. Not a big fan of that lad tbh
"I used to be in The Spice Girls"..... I would have asked him, "Which ones?".
ChannelRalph he did answered that to Seth Myers.
Colbert's trying to play it straight, and Gilbert's having NONE of it. I love it.
Do yourself a favor and check out his podcast. Very funny and surprisingly insightful. They have a wonderful respect for old Hollywood, and the stories they get out of people are hilarious.
love Gilbert's podcast!
He’s amazing
My one dream in life is to hear Gilbert sing "You Make Me Feel Brand New"
This video is a good example of why I love Gilbert Gottfried and have no respect left for Stephen Colbert.
People say they want Morgan Freeman to narrate their lives. Give me Gilbert Gottfried any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
I’ve had him mentally narrating my life the last couple of days. It’s somehow helping me process his death
CLITAWRUS!!!!!!!!!
I just came from that video 😂😂😂
Love this
His entrance! Hahahah
My all time fav
Outstanding
I LOVE Gilbert. Check him out reading "Fifty Shades of Grey" - it's hilarious!!
Gilbert is Legend.
Brilliant.
He really is a beautiful man... with a beautiful family. Supremely talented... but the thing I admire most about him.. is that he never sold out!
And the podcast is absolutely awesome.
Gilbert = Genius
The best living comedian in the world. All he had to do was outlive Sean Lock, Norm McDonald, Richard Pryor, and Robin Williams.
Oh god, this hit hard after his passing. They're all legends RIP
:(
In the six months since this comment Bob Saget and Gilbert Gottfried both joined the others on your list.
You forgot George Carlin
@@jrayproductions7790 indeed I did. Although the more I think of it, George Carlin was not merely a comedian. The man was a prophet.
Such a legend.
Loved him in the Problem Child movies.
Gilbert & i go way back, he & i were on the same Gong Show taping one day
and we hung out often at the Comedy Store (but he wouldn't believe who i was then,
he should ask Steven Pearl or several others who were around late 80's/early 90's)
best voice and laugh in the biz
I love Gilbert!!! This audience doesn't deserve him!
Such an under appreciated comic
R.I.P. Gilbert Gottfried (1955-2022)
Love him😍
LOVE him!
Loved it, lol
One word: savage lol
Love me some Gilbert!
"The good news is that none of my kids have autism. The bad news is that they both have Polio."
🤣🤣
Jenny McCarthy is a nutjob.
Gilbert Gottfried, i just LOVE YOU!!! orange people---hahahahahahahahhhaahahahahahahaha cant breath... must laugh...
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hahaha
love that guy
XD "I think I was about seven..."
That guy makes me laugh Gilbert Gottfried is still awesome
You forgot Cyberchase. His best character is Digit.
terrifically funny man
Gilbert and Sam Kinison on Howard Stern on the day of Ryan White's funeral is the funniest radio in history. Gilbert is very good alone and piss your pants funny when he gets egged on.
